Review: The first thing to do is to remember you are buying a speaker system that is ($$$) dollars. This is a good amount of money for most, but in the world of audio this is nothing. So you will have varying people saying varying things about this system. I am a novice however I took shopping for a speaker system very seriously. I went to all the electronic chains (Circuit City, Best Buy, Audio King, Sears) in the area and in this price range this system blew away the competition. The only one that came close was the speaker system with the Onkyo HT-650. However, its speakers where huge and we wanted speakers that would not stand out.

The thing to know about this system is that you are getting a great sub, which is a good building block for any system. The center channel and the satellites are good as well, but not as clean and crisp as the Bose and other higher end speakers. Still, we listen to a wide variety of music and we enjoy listening to it all. We have never had a good sound system so ever time we listen to a CD its like listening to it for the first time. Plus, it plays movies great.

If you can't afford the higher end like us, then this is a great system to give a chance. We are very pleased with our decision.

One last tip, is that if you are looking for more reviews, check out the HKTS 5. This is the previous model made by Harman Kardon and according to them these speakers are the exact same, they have just upgraded the speaker wire and attachments.
