Summary: Disappointing
Review: Bought this binoculars hoping Carson had come with an inexpensive solution to provide high quality zoom in binoculars. I was completely dissapointed when I got My Z80. The image was fuzzy and when I used the zoom at its maximum, the image was impossible to focus and really dark. I returned the item to Amazon.
The Binoculars look great from the exterior, but really do not live up to the expectations.Beside, I found out that a 20X magnification is a lot, not really that necessary, not to say a 80X. Should try other less powerful models with better optics.

Summary: good binoculars
Review: I purchased this binocular and knew before that when viewing something with small binoculars at very high mag you will get a dimmer image with some shaking if hand held. The unit is well put together and fun to use. Just at high mag you will have a better image in daylight. Highly recommended keeping the above in mind.
