Summary: Check these out, they'll last you a long time...
Review: Okay, so this thing is not the lightest unit out there. And I tell you I was skeptical these things would work. I mean, are they like the ones in the movies or kinda like them or what? And then I stumbled upon these at my local camera store. "Getta load of this piece", I thought. Well, It is sturdy built, and a bit heavy, but since it is made out of all-cast iron, you can tell it is a quality device. Rugged too. I usually take the Bright Nite out in the desert on weekends and check out all the activity on the border, just like the real Fed-boys. What I like about them is the wide camera-style lens plus the eyecups, they really help blocking out light that might interfere. They also come with a tripod-mount, which is great since I can then get a steady view of what I am observing. Bottom line, this is a great device, weather-resistant so I know a little rain won't hurt, rugged like you couldn't believe it, so you know it'll take a little wear n' tear.
