Summary: Great for backyard birding
Review: These binoculars are lightweight and compact. There aren't any lens covers, but there is a small canvas carrying case, and a cloth to keep the lenses clean. They are comfortable and provide easy viewing with a substantial field of view. The neck strap is a piece of thin, black cord and it is better to tuck it behind a shirt collar for comfort. The binoculars fall above my belly-button when hanging, so they don't bounce off my belt buckle, a small bonus. I take them along if I am going into the field, and they are great for backyard birding as well.
