Monster Cable's Home Theater PowerCenter HTS800 offers a multitude of inputs and a wealth of Monster technologies to protect your gear and ensure clean, reliable power. The PowerCenter features a Monster Clean Power Stage 1 v2.0 filter to deliver noise-free power to your components, an eight-foot AC power cable with a flexible, FlatProfile right-angle plug using a maximum-conductivity 24k gold contact, and a total of eight labeled and color-coded outlets (with matching cord labels for easy hookup). Three of the unit's eight outlets are conveniently spaced for use with AC adapter transformers, and the power strip provides audible and visual indicators for damage, protection, and ground status monitoring. Its 1,850-Joule rating provides a high level of surge absorption. Harmful power surges and voltage spikes can travel up the AC power line and damage connected equipment. Lightning, automatic garage doors, power tools, refrigerators, and fluorescent lights all cause power surges and voltage spikes that affect phone lines and coaxial cables. Monster's SurgeGuard detects harmful power surges and voltage spikes before they reach components.
