Review: We recently ordered this item directly from Home Decorators Collection. We should have ordered directly through Amazon. Based on the item description and pictures of the product both on the internet and in a Home Decorator's mail catalog, we purchased the stand in walnut color. After all, all our wood in the house is walnut. It took three weeks for delivery and when we opened the box (which was damaged) the stand was redish/orange. It looked like a picnic table, not walnut brown. In addition, the stain was awful. Numerous visible streaks and in some places it was stained heavily and others barely any stain. It certainly wasn't worth $299. If you order this product, order through Amazon! We did not and even though the item is misrepresented, we will not get a refund on our shipping ($30+) and we have to pay to have it shipped back! It will cost us approximately $75 for nothing. Keep looking.
