Summary: My frustration ended with this antenna!
Review: I live very close to the local HDTV transmitters (within 20 miles), and the HDTV signal comes in extremely strong. This was causing problems with the first four antennas I tried. The signals would always cause interference, preventing my STB from getting a strong signal on any channel. I could only try indoor antennas, since I live in an apartment and couldn't put up an outdoor antenna.Finally, I found this antenna and thought I'd give it a try. It's very directional, so all I had to do was point it to the transmitters and I was in business! It didn't accept the interference that my omnidirectional antennas did, and I was watching HDTV in minutes! The signal strengths on all my channels was very good. It seems that this antenna performs well in short and long distances as well. Well worth the money for the performance it delivers.

Summary: Best indoor UHF bar none!
Review: I have tried about a dozen other antennas (2 outdoor and 10 indoor). And most of those were "supposed" to be high-quality/high-performance models. In fact, several were significantly more expensive than this one. However, this antenna NOTICEABLY outperformed ALL of them - be they amplified or unamplified, indoor or outdoor. So, as long as you only need to receive channels in the UHF range (it does not receive VHF) then I highly recommend this antenna.

Summary: Great Product
Review: I purchased this antenna to go with my Samsung 30 HDTV and Samsung SIR-T151 HDTV receiver. Everything I read indicated I would need an outside antenna to pick up stations not in my immediate area. This antenna is amazing. It picks up digital stations more than 80 miles away! It is highly directional, so if you get it pointed in the right direction, you get good results.

Summary: Excellent Product!
Review: After much research on the Internet I purchased this antenna HOPING that it would work for me to bring in the HD locals. My wife wouldn't go for an outdoor antenna on the roof so I was left with indoor only. I really didn't get my hopes up when I bought this because I am 37 miles from Mt. Wilson (broadcasting towers). Plus, I am surrounded by mountaineous terrain. But, for $25.00 I figured it was worth the risk as I could just return it. Within 5 minutes after taking out of box, I had my HD locals...all of them! I had to move the antenna around a little to acquire the strongest feed, but once I locked in I didn't move it again. FYI...I just purchased the new HD Tivo unit, the HR10-250 which allows for checking off-air channel strength. I was able to pull in all of the locals with over the recommended 60 signal strength. I was and am still new to all of this HD and OTA world. However, this antenna really made things easy for me as it is literally a "plug and play" install. It brought back memories of plugging in rabbit ears to tv's back in the 80's for UHF channels. It is literally the same type of setup. I highly recommend this antenna, especially if you're a beginner like myself!

Summary: Cheap and good
Review: I knew I was gambling on getting a usable HDTV signal 40 miles from all of the LA transmitters on Mt Wilson. Plus I am inside a stucco building with wire mesh that blocks or reflects signals. Using an older, AMPLIFIED VHF/UHF antenna, I averaged 24% signal strength on the seven major LA stations. Then I tried this ZHDTV1, which is UNAMPLIFIED, and I averaged 56% signal strength. So try this before bothering with an outdoor antenna, or a more expensive indoor antenna. Also the vanes on the ZHDTV1 can be quickly inserted vertically, as well as horizontally as shown in pictures. That gets stronger signals for me on two stations. The antenna cable that comes with the antenna is six feet long.

Summary: Gemini lives up to its reputation
Review: This product - also known as the Silver Sensor under different brands - is definitely worthy of the hype. I decided to go HDTV this summer, but an outdoor antenna just wasn't a good option. Given my experience with other expensive "rabbit ears" I was doubtful. But this antenna brings in all of my local digital HDTV channels and I can even hide it in a closet. It's not perfect under all weather conditions, but digital tv is still in it's infancy right now and reception should steadily improve. If you want to go digital and stay off the roof, try this one first. Reviews on Amazon are one of my most trusted sales reference sources, and this time the Amazon customers are dead-on.

Summary: Great Engineering in a Cheap Looking Package
Review: As has been said by others, this almost toy-like antenna is quite a performer. I hooked it up and placed it on a shelf about 54" high and pointed it more or less in the direction of Mt. Wilson (where all the Los Angeles stations broadcast from; I'm about 32 miles from there). Instantly my HDTV recognized nine stations, and found another two when I tried acquiring a second time. The only caveat, is the antenna's location is occasionally blocked by someone walking by. This will cause momentary signal loss. Consequently when you locate the antenna, try to get it high enough or in a non-traffic area so that it won't get blocked.
Note, this antenna was delivered in a box entitled "Zenith Silver Sensor", not Gemini. The antenna is 100% identical to the Gemini, and is known to be sold under a number of trade names.

Review: I live in san diego, Ca I live only 10 miles from most antennas. It picks up some stations put you still have to play with to much. I went and picked up the terk tv5 this indoor antenna blows the ZHDTV1 away I pick up all the local HD channels great.

Summary: Amazing antenna for a low price.
Review: I had high hopes for this antenna because of the great reviews and I was not disappointed. I live in Pacifica, CA and I'm able to receive all the digital channels in the area. Two channels (20 and 44) require repositioning the antenna a little bit. It is a little bit big and not very aesthetic, but it works great. I have it sitting on the floor behind my entertainment rack and I can still get all the stations (except 20 and 44). For those in the San Francisco area, this is the best antenna (you can even get NBC 11 which is broadcast on one of it's Telemundo sister station's channels, 48.2).
If you get bad off the air analog reception, you can still get great digital reception with this antenna.

Summary: I was skeptical.... but it works great.
Review: I really didn't think it would work but I thought there was very little risk for $22. It works great. I am 10 miles from the HD towers in my city and I pull in all the channels.
Got all but one signal right off the bat. When I bought a Tripp Lite surge suppressor that amplified the signals a bit, I got the last channel too. I am dumbfounded by how well it works.
