Summary: Not what I expected
Review: Based on the reviews and the picture I was expecting an antenna that would hookup to both the TV and the VCR. Instead it only hooks to the TV.
The reception is very good, a much better improvement than what I had. Now I have to search for help and while searching for help found out that RCA is owned by Thomson Multimedia and there's no central office to contact.
If you only have one TV and no VCR or DVD, this gives very good reception, but forget it if you have all types of extras with the TV.

Review: I am able to tune in channels that were previously quite impossible here, with this little antenna!! The antenna on the roof of this building is completely useless, at best. I am quite impressed and pleasantly surprised by the performance of this antenna that put only a tiny dent in my pocket!

Review: I am very impressed by this antenna. I live in a three-story college dorm in a region surrounded by mountains, and it is difficult to get good TV reception with an antenna (my friends have tried two different antennae with limited luck). This antenna performs wonderfully despite the surroundings. It picks up all of the channels I want very clearly, plus some extra channels I wasn't expecting to get. I recommend this product, especially to college students who want TV without a monthly cable bill.

Review: I bought this antenna to replace the out of the box dipole antenna that came with my television. I live in an area that has only UHF stations and hoped that this antenna would improve the overall reception. Hookup was easy and placement was no problem because of its small stature. However, when I turned my TV on I was surprised that my reception had downgraded rather than improved. I tried several different placements and adjustments to the antenna with marginal results. This may be a unique occurence but I don't want anyone to be fooled into thinking that this antenna is the end all be all. Keep your receipt you just might need to return it!

Review: I had aluminum foil attached via coaxial cable to my T.V. before I purchased this antenna. After hooking the antenna up, I noticed only marginal improvements. Also, if you want to change between lesser reception channels, you have to completely reposition the antenna. I would return it, but I would get barely half of what I paid for it, since I would still have to pay for return shipping as well as the original shipping cost.
