Review: I received my 62HMX94 about a week ago and on HD siganls, I am amazed at the picture quality. But be sure that you can place the TV (AT LEAST) ten feet away from your seating area if you will predominantly receive standard cable or broadcast because when reproducing a signal with only 240 lines of resolution, the picture tends to be blurry and fuzzy even though Toshiba says the signals are converted to 720p. However with the HD signal, you could probably sit as close as five feet for near theatre-quality viewing. For the best DVD viewing, be sure to get a upconversion DVD player such as the Toshiba SD-5970 or SD-V592 (DVD/VCR) (As long as you're spending around $4,000 on a TV, what a couple hundred more?). Several other manufacturers sell similar upconversion players (Samsung, Sony, LG, Denon, Onkyo, etc...).

I have not yet taken advantage of the HD tuner section or Cable Card feature (which does not allow PPV and some other features), but I plan in installing an HD antenna soon in order to receive all local programming.
