Summary: great item, bad support
Review: The item was delivered quite nicely. Unpackaged and placed in my home exactly where I desired. For the first 24 hours I was like a child on Christmas morning. However, the picture is showing distortion, and I can't get support from Apex CS. The picture fluctuates from dark to bright sporadically. I finally got through to Apex CS, and was told a technician would contact me within 72 hours. A week later that hasn't happened. Their toll free number is always busy. I am sure it is a simple fix...however I am not sure if I will ever find out as the tech wizard won't come out from behind the curtain.

Summary: Do not buy APEX
Review: I got this TV delivered and it does'nt work right. Apex has the worst customer service. Try reaching their 866-4APEXGO number its always busy, try their 909-930-1239 you get to talk to a rude customer service representative after 35 minutes hold. Bottom line - TV does'nt work and teh manufacturer would'nt help fix it. DO NOT BUY APEX.

Summary: Has been a great TV for the price for the first two days
Review: I got mine shipped yesterday. Eagle guys are very helpful, they delivered to my living room and fit it into my entertainment center. The default setting works beautifully out of the box. Remind you it is not a HDTV, but already a big improvement over my 20' Sanyo. Played a DVD on a ordinary DVD player (not a Progressive scan player), image looks great and sound rocks. Played video tape too, same great result.
Loves it so far....

Review: Our Apex 43" was delivered September 9th by Eagle Global. They delivered the set inside exactly where we wanted it placed. After setup I was amazed at the picture and sound quality. We will truly enjoy this great TV at this wonderful price.Sincerely, Bev

Summary: Best Deal for $400.00 Special
Review: Worked great out of the Box. Needed a 43-43" Projection to fill a space. Colors are bright and can be adjusted to the type of program you are watching. A good low cost solution until the 3rd generation HDTV/DV monitors start arriving in the next few years.
Best Deal I have ever got on Amazon. My kids were impressed how big Barney now looks. Only complaint bad remote contol layout, also going to a rear projection from a tube means I have to sit down at eye level to get the best view. Over all I would rate this a 8 out of 10 based on $$$ vs Performance

Summary: Super Picture
Review: This TV gives a great picture. Don't believe the hype of HDTV yet. The Apex delivers a picture very close to HDTV due to its 60hz refresh rate and its 480p image size. There are plenty of inputs for all of your home theater devices. I have not experienced the problems other owners had with quality. I can say that in the past I purchased many Apex DVD players and those had a 50% failure rate out of the box; therefore, I was uneasy about purchasing this TV. So far, no problems. My only gripe is the universal remote has a DVD/VCR button. It does not have a seperate button for each which means you have to choose one or the other. So far I have been unsuccessful at programming a different button (i.e. SAT) for my VCR.

Review: I got this TV from Amazon, I like the picture, the picture has the same quality of other HDTV that are in the $1400 range. it is easy to program and use. I am very happy with it.

Summary: Great TV for the price
Review: Thank goodness I found out about this deal on VGtalk.com. It's the best $400 I've spent this year! Although I knew to not expect much from the TV, I was amazed by the quality of the TV when hooked up through my progressive scan DVD player and XBox with the high definition pack. I'm a big gamer, and to see 4-player Halo on this big screen was amazing! However, when hooked up through my progressive scan and high def pack, the picture got dark. That's my only complaint, but I've read all other projection sets have the same issue. This was a big jump from my 27" TV to this baby, and the price was well worth it.

Summary: Horrible customer service!!!!
Review: right out of the box, our remote didn't work nor the autoprogram button (which is imperative to tune in to the local channels). We tried the customer service number on the back of the warranty and waited 3 days in a row for at least an hour each time. After finally getting through to someone, the customer service rep. was very rude and not helpful at all. He told us someone would contact us to set up a time to fix the t.v and a week later still no one has called us back. STEER CLEAR OF THIS BRAND!!!
