Rating: Summary: Best of the Big Screens Review: Agonized for many months deciding on a rear projection TV formy house and compared just about every model available (except forHDTV models) and found the Sony KP-48V80 to be the best out there. Keep in mind that the picture quality is only as good as the incoming signal (many stores have projection TVs connected to DVD players only, be sure to view TV with other sources when comparing). True, the Sony is the most expensive analog for it's size out there but there's a reason for that. This TV can't be beat (except maybe by the XBR rear projection series). END
Rating: Summary: Big disappointment Review: Bought my new Sony and in less than four weeks did not work. Calling Sony just left me with buzy signals. Finally got through and they gave me no help, finally got fixed and is broken again after 6 months........WON`T buy another Sony.....

Rating: Summary: Projection or Tube? Review: The TV quality on this Projection TV is so good that I often forget it isn't a tube. Sony's are always superior in quality and this TV lives up to the Sony name.
Rating: Summary: Sony TV's Rule! Review: We have always been faithful to Sony when it comes to buying a TV. This was our first projection TV and it did not disappoint. The picture is remarkeabky clear and sharp, closely rivaling what you get with a tube TV. The technology is advanced and nearly all TV functions are accessable through the remote. We find the 48 inch screen size to be perfect for our den which measures 20x25 ft. This model also has a built in protective screen, whereas many projection TV's do not come with this feature. We are having a great time watching movies on video, seeing details that we have never seen before.
