Summary: White image
Review: As far as the design, it's great. But the picture is terrible. There is no contrast and it looks milkwashed. You can barely see an image. For $400, I think Audiovox could do a lot better.

Summary: Cheap, but narrow viewing angle
Review: Bought it for the kitchen but returned it. Like the 1st in-flight movie screens, the viewing angle's narrow...the picture turns into a photographic negative if you're not centered in front of the screen.

Summary: Outstanding Product!
Review: Great for the kitchen. The small size doesn't bother me since I often just listen to TV while I'm working. The controls are a little small, but being cable ready you an just tune it to one channel and leave it there.

I plan to use one of these for a security camera placed at the front door so I can see who is there, before I answer the door.

This would be good for backing up a recreational vehicle with a remote camera. If mounted on the ceiling of a car, it would work great for use as a back seat TV.

Summary: Great Set, but where's the security camera?
Review: I am totally happy with the picture quality. I have it set up between my computer moniter and tower and watch it while doing mindless work at the keyboard (like right now) so the viewing angle is fairly constant. Because of a limited viewable angle, it could be a bit of a problem in the kitchen where you are moving around.

My only serious gripe: there seems to be no way to aquire the optional security camera, which was one of its nicest selling points (its listed on the box). I have even emailed Audiovox with no response. Judging from the products listed on Audiovox's website, this TV and all accessories have been discontinued, so beware. I'm still glad I got it. ...

Summary: Fun Kitchen Product
Review: I had been using a 5 inch black and white in my kitchen until I found this beauty. My kitchen is closed off from the rest of the house and this tv gives me entertainment at it's best for the size! The option of tucking it away when not in use is great in my pint size space and the color and sound quality are an exciting improvement from my older model. Every time I show a friend my new kitchen improvement they want to know where I got it and how can they get one! I'm looking forward to hooking it up to cable for expanded viewing choices-who knows I may have to cook every night and do the dishes too!

Summary: BEWARE!
Review: I was very excited about this product. However, after only 2 weeks, the picture got very white -- basically unusable! Of course I was slow in installing it and it was on day 100 after actually purchasing it that this happened and the warranty is only 90 days.

Draw your own conclusions as to whether this is "normal" or not. I have only bought one, so I have nothing to compare to.

Summary: Full featured, tiny package
Review: Let's cut to the chase: This is a great little TV. Here's why:

- It mounts very solidly under the kitchen cabinet, with 4 screws that go through the bottom of the cabinet. You can't see the screw heads if you have shelf paper. You can also mount the unit vertically (on a wall like a picture) if you'd like.

- It's unobtrusive. Our cabinet has a 1 1/4" lip and the TV doesn't extend much below it.

- Many input options. There is a coax jack for cable or antenna, and 2 A/V inputs (3 RCA jacks each) for connecting a VCR, input from a wireless security camera, baby video monitor, etc.

- 12V DC input means you can, with appropriate adapter (not included), use this in the car. It also has a 12V DC out jack so you can daisy chain devices.

- Picture is very sharp and bright; I was watching a hockey game and could see the puck from across the kitchen. The viewing angle of the screen is a bit narrow, though the screen pivots in all directions so it is easy to adjust for best picture. I have no complaints about the screen size.

- Remote has all the features you'll need, except velcro. We use velcro to store the remote under the cabinet next to the TV.

- Sound is adequate; it's about what you'd expect from 2 small speakers pointed down at the counter top.

The hardest part of setting this up was running the cable to the TV. Fortunately we have crown moulding and I was able to tuck the cable under that. Total installation time from unpacking to completion (including running the cable) was under 2 hours.

This is really a cool little device and one of the best birthday gifts I've had in recent memory. I was lusting after it all during football season; now that I have it I'm not disappointed!

Summary: PERFECT FOR WORKING IN KITCHEN
Review: My husband just installed this little gem for me this weekend and I love it! For working around the kitchen it is perfect. It is connected to our satellite system and VCR and the picture could not be more crystal. Many times I listen more than watch a show, but to have the picture to glance at occasionally is a real plus. Wish I had thought of this sooner!
