Summary: Discontinued but AWESOME!
Review: First of all I had some of my family members listen to these with some classical music and some rock, and the only thing they could say is WOW! They had never heard such detail and had no idea of what they were missing.I found out these were discontinued but recived rave reviews everywhere I went. When I found that Amazon.com had them (totally by accident) I didn't hesitate and purchased them imediatly! I am listening to them now and there is no question about it, they are awesome. I have never heard such detail with both a super acurate high and low yes low end unlike the Sennheiser HD600's. Also there closed so I can listen to music really loud and not bug anyone else, also it keeps other noise out. Oh and they are very comfortable plus the sound stage it incredibly wide. Please Sony, why discontinue such a great product, the new CD2000's are not even closed there open backed.

Review: Hi, I recently started looking for a new pair of sony headphones and stumbled across this set. I have had a pair of sony mdr-v4 then even better mdr-7504 and was quite impressed. However I started using sony headphones that covered the entire ear which were more comfortable, especially if you wore glasses. I expect these headphones to be very sweet. I looked around at places like hifibitz.co.uk and found amazon to have a very competitive price. A great choice for the headphone enthusiast.

Review: These headphones fit like a old pair of sneakers. Slip right on and you never want em off, unless they stink of course. They are loud and make for some major headbanging. And at school they're a blast. [...] Also the have very little distortion and i use them for all my digital refrencing needs. Well they are really good so buy em! Hope I helped.
