Summary: BUMMED
Review: These headphones look cool ,but dispite there design they suck. They are hard to keep in and they dont have enough sound. there is no bass at all. so i suggest getting something different.

Summary: Good if you dont care about sound quality
Review: I am not a hardcore msuioc listener, but i need headphones that are compact and so i dont have to cary around my big sony ones (since im on a laptop). I use these at school or whenever just so i can have sound, and no one can hear around me. I love the case it comes with.
plus... theyre only 5 bucks!
I you are concerned with sound, dont buy these. If you dont care about quality but you just want some sound from your computer or something, this is a pretty good choice.
And may i remind you...they are 5 bucks!
thats half the reason i bought them!
I give this product 2 stars because the quality isnt great, but they are compact, and good for general computer use.

Summary: Cheap, nice looking, but poor sound.
Review: I bought these for about $5 at Target. I hadn't had in-ear headphones before and I just wanted to see what the fuss was about. My main questions and answers are as follows:

-Would they be comfortable?

They weren't that comfortable, a little big for the ear. Definitely gets annoying after a little while.

-Would they sound as good as "the big guys"?

No. These are mostly treble. Changing the EQ didn't make a difference.

-Would I like sticking something in my ear?

The jury is still out on this. I do like the smallness of this, but not quite the feel. Maybe in the future, I'll buy some more expensive in-ear headphones. For $5 I don't feel ripped-off, but there are probably better deals out there.

Summary: Nice, comfortable earbuds
Review: I bought these for use with my iPod because of the similarity in styling and the nice little case. However, the sound is tinny unless you twist them around to a strange angle where they line up with your ear canal, but then they fall out. Don't bother with these.

Summary: Don't throw away your money
Review: I bought these headphones when I went to Target because they look cool and the price is great. However, it is one of the worst headphones I have ever tried. The sound is completely muffled and it is extremely unconfortable for the ear. I would strongly recommend buying a better one (for around 8 or 9 dollars) from Sony.

Summary: Stay away.
Review: I have a pair of the Virgin Pulse Earbuds in right now as I write this review, and they are, without a doubt, the worst pair of earbuds or headphones of any variety that I have ever used. These earbuds have virtually no redeeming value whatsoever. For ten dollars you can buy something infinitely better. Please, please, please stay away from these.

Summary: Seduced by the price; kept the case
Review: I picked up these headphones at my local Target Store. I was initially seduced by the price. They were $4.99. I thought that the silicone ear covers would be very easy to clean. They were easy to clean but the quality of the earphones themselves was abismal. I tossed the earphones and kept the case. It is very useful to store the earphones I got with my Ipod. I was very surprised that Virgin, a company that is sooo concerned with image would stamp its name on such a shoddy product. I recommend that a potential customer stay away from the Virgin audio products and look instead at the Philips brand. Their headphones are quite good for the price. I have a set of in-the-ear Philips headphones and am surprised at their range. For $20 I expected worse. Unfortunately I now have a hearing aid and can no longer use the in the ear headphone. Be that as it may, the Philips in the ear headphones rival my Senneiser HD433 headphones in sound reproduction. I suppose the bottom line is choose Philips over the Virgin label when it comes to audio equipment.

Summary: Well worth the money
Review: I've read the other reviews for these earbuds and I couldn't disagree more. Granted they're not for true audiophiles (a.k.a. 'Nutjobs'). But if all you want is an inexpensive set of 'phones with good sound and volume then these little buggers are perfect. Hey, for the price what do you really expect and what is there to really gripe about?

Pros: Sound is good, price is low, volume is decent, cushions are comfy (and washable)

Cons: Not for the audio perfectionist
