Summary: Great, cost effective, Audio Enthusiast headphone
Review: These headphones while not being true audiophile grade have great dynamic range. The perform excellently even while listening to demanding music, IE heavy bass below 40hz and vocals and instruments above 10khz. For under $[$$] dollars they are a good value. There design is super simple, no tiny springs to break or weak foam ear pads to tear. This design helps them stand up to a fair amount of physical abuse. The cord length is a nice feature if you are going to sit far away from your source, but if you are using it on a portable source like a Disc-Man or an IPod the cord can be a bit cumbersome.

Summary: Excellent Sound for the Money, but...
Review: These little guys blow away all of the standard headphones that come with various portable units and computers. I'm sure that if you want to spend more, you could get better sound. But these have a nice spacious, well-balanced sound. I've tried them on both jazz and classical, using my Walkman with Bass Boost, and I'm very pleased. And they are *very* comfortable. They seem to float on your ears.

Now for the "but...". The cord is heavy and 10 feet long. You might look at that as a positive, but I've found myself tripping over it. It's a lot of extra cord to deal with if you just want to put a walkman in your pocket. On the other hand, if you want to use it attached to a computer or other non-portable player, that would be an advantage.

I also wish that there was a volume control/mute on the cord, and I wish that the cord went only to one earpiece, rather than running up to both. But these are very small complaints. For the cost of this set, it's unreasonable to expect to have both great sound and convenience features.

Summary: Good Sound ..... And Pretty Comfy On The Ears
Review: These Sennheiser headphones provide a nice clean sound. These are a lot better than a great deal of other brands in this price range.

Some reviewers were complaining about the tight fit of these 'phones. This is true, they are a bit on the tight side, especially if your head size is a bit bigger than average. And (for whatever reason) these do not have any way to adjust the size of the headband. But there's a very simple way to avoid this discomfort .... What I do is to simply tip the headband back just a wee bit, in order to get them to sit not quite directly on top of my head, thus avoiding the uncomfortable tight squeeze. I found this tipping method will indeed work, and without having the ear pieces fall from your ears. So now I can wear these babies all day, and not even feel 'em!

Summary: Excellent Sound Quality/Price Ratio
Review: They sound great, although the sound can't touch that of really expensive headphones. It's not a big deal really, unless you don't own HiFi equipment worth a lot and/or have a very sensitive ear. Compared to other headphones in the same price range, I found these to be the best. The bass is excellent, the sound is very clear, and the design is nice and clean too. I don't regret buying them.

Summary: Sounded good untill they started buzzing.
Review: Tough to rate because I don't know if these headphones are prone to buzzing or whether it's just my pair.
However, untill they started buzzing, these headphones gave good sound quality. They have a long cord, which makes it somewhat cumbersome for listening on the go, but nice for listening to stuff at home. Fortunately for me, they have a 2 year warranty.
For their price, these are a good pair, but you can probably find better.

Summary: Little Better Than Stock Headphones
Review: Was expecting better given the Sennheiser name. These are on par with the headphones Panasonic or Aiwa package with their mid-line CD players. Sold mine on eBay. Am utterly bewildered by the 5 Star reviews!

Summary: Great value!
Review: You truly won't believe the sound quality that you get from these ... headphones. Deep bass, treble that isn't "tinny," and comfortable enough for long listening sessions. These 'phones handle jazz, classical and hard rock with equal ease, and the open-air design means you won't be totally cut off from the world! I've been using mine for the past three days, listening to MP3's through my Mac, and I could scarcely tell a difference when I plugged the headphones into my component CD player. I can't wait to try them with a Walkman on my noisy bus commute!
