Summary: Great sound for the price
Review: I'm familiar with Sennheiser's excellent reputation, but didn't want to spend a lot on headphones to use at work, listening to my boombox there. A $20 pair looked too good to be true; it isn't. The sound would be welcome in headphones costing three times as much. As others have noted, they do tend to squeeze a bit tightly, and the bass is a little weak, but then again, nothing else at the price comes close.

Summary: rockin headphones
Review: i'm not a serious stereophile... but i know a thing or two about bad headphones. especially the kind you get for free with every portable audio product you buy. bottom line, the quality for these headphones is amazing. you can turn up whatever you are listening to, and not worry about distortion. did i mention the price? dirt cheap my friend, dirt cheap. the only downside is they don't fit comfortably for people with glasses, and there is a little plastic piece in the center of the earphone that can be bothersome if not positioned perfectly. or maybe it's just my ears?

Summary: Sound great to me.
Review: I've gotten 2 pairs of these bargain Sennheisers, and for the life of me, I cannot see how they are not the equal of the pair I paid 8 times more for several years ago. These, unlike the bigger ones, did not require any 'burning in' period, and seem to handle output from low wattage sources (the Creative Labs Jukebox) even better than the more expensive headphones do. This is a good deal.

Summary: A Light, Understated, but realistic Sound
Review: If you are a fan of heavy bass, and a sound that blows you away, these are not the headphones for you. However, the sound is crisp and clear and mellow. You can hear parts of songs that you have never heard before. That said, the crispness is only too clear to listen to MP3s and other low-quality music sources. The headphones bring out their imperfections, as lower quality headohones would disguise them in the mush of their sound. These headphones are great deal at 20 bucks for those who don't want to be blown away by a wall of sound and rather appreciate the finer elements of any genre of music.

Summary: Once a D.J....Always wanting Sennheiser...They Rule !
Review: Long ago a wise AOR D.J. turned me on to a clearity..it was Sennheiser Headphones. These HD433 Hi-Fi Stereo Headphones are very good for 3 reasons...#1 A Great Brand #2 Small light and powerful #3 Very inexpencive for the quality. I highly recomend this product to escape and relax into to the music you deserve to hear.

Summary: really good, really inexpensive
Review: Sennheiser may have earned their reputation by making excelent high-end audiophile headphones, but their entry-level products do not dissapoint.

This set of headphones is better than most headphones I've had that cost me four or five times as much.

Summary: Good Headphones from a Great Brand
Review: Sennheiser would have to be the best thing to come out of Germany since the Great Composers. They always produce good quality products that never cease to impress me. It is a great shame that people would prefer to purchase Sony headphones instead of these gems.

The HD 433 was my second pair of Sennheiser headphones (the first being the HD 26 portables). The HD 26 was a major step up for me in the hi fi headphones way, and they did serve me well in the time that I had them as my principal headphones. When I purchased the HD 433 howver, they soon fell out of favour as these headphones are fantastic.

The sound reproduction is good, and the bass doesn't seem albe to be distorted even at loud volume levels (unless you are using mega bass at full, which is not really need because these headphones are so powerful). The highs are good and the midrange is pretty spot on. These headphones seem to be very popular at CD stores since they seem to always be used at booths.

The construction is strong an sturdy and the cables are wrapped around a special hook to prevent you pulling them out of the socket. The only complaint I have with these headphones are that they make your ears really hot if you listen to them for a long period of time.

All in all a very good pair of headphones, especially for the price. I have a pair of HD 570s as well but these will not go underused; they will still be taken with me when I need portability.

Summary: Good, cheap sound.
Review: Sound quality is better than expected for this price range. Comfortable enough to wear for hours at a time (as I do). The only reason I didn't give these 5 stars is that the phones provide no sound insulation; I can still hear the guy in the next cube talking (but it's not that distracting since he doesn't make sense anyway).

Summary: good sound and price but very tight
Review: Sound quality is very good, long cord is nice, but the headphones are very tight to the point they hurt your head after 5-10 minutes of usage. There is no adjustment to that. Other than that (which may or may not bother you), I strongly recommend this product. I would recommend trying on headphones at the local store before purchasing online. Comfort is important feature and it is very subjective.

Summary: Sadly, little better than...
Review: the cheapo headphones that come with CD players these days. I suppose given their low price there's no reason to quibble about the lack of quality sound. Suffice it to say you get what you pay for: these sound like inexpensive headphones. No high end, no bass, and no space. To top it off the supra-aural design is uncomfortable for any prolonged listening. If you are looking for a step up, the HD433s just ain't it.
