Summary: Good concept but excruciatingly painful
Review: I bought these from Sears... sorry Amazon but it only made me more embittered towards Sears. While it is pretty cool to have the bass throbbing on the back of your neck the novelty soon wears off due to the thin padding in ear plugs and almost angular/sharp seams in the headphones that seem to dig into your ears through the foam. After 1/2 hour they become very uncomfortable as they cut into your ears and pull on your ears as the weighty back end sags on the back of your neck. Do not wear them for more than an hour... I will repeat that. DO NOT WEAR THEM FOR MORE THEN AN HOUR. You may think that you can cope with the discomfert but you soon find your self in great amounts of pain as your ears are raw, red, sore, and it almost feels like you got paper cuts in both ears. They may sound good and be fun for 15 minutes but headphones should be able to be used for more than 1/2 an hour without causing pain. Do not get these headphones I don't care how much of a bass junky you are they aren't worth it. I do however suggest getting a pair of Evergreen RumbleFX headphones from their site rumblefx.com
The Evergreen's sound great and have the comfortable cups on either side with lots of padding and noticeable bass from both the cups and tactile vibration at the same time. Plus their the same price.
In closing do your self a favor and DO NOT GET Brain Shakers
unless you enjoy the idea of inserting a flesh eating earwig into your ears while putting the back of your neck to a PS2 controller with the rumble function... I'm ranting.
just get the Rumble FX's instead and you'll be much happier.

Summary: What a gimick! Totally useless
Review: I bought these, based on the specs (claim to go down to 15Hz). The vibrating thing might fool you into thinking there's some thumping bass behind your head, but the overall response of the speakers is nowhere near that good. It's like the mid-range is barely audible, and aside from the bass you would normally feel instead of hear, you don't really hear any bass at all. After wearing these things for half an hour, I had a headache. I wouldn't buy a pair like this without a good test-run first.

Summary: The bass you've longed for...in headphones!
Review: I first heard about the "brain shaker" headphones through an editorial colomun on another website. I mostly bought these headphones out of disbelief in the claims Panasonic made. I honestly could not see a headphone being able to produce home theater quality bass. Well it does produce bass. It produces amazing bass! It puts my home speaker system in my room to shame. The remote (it is different than the picture, it shows three buttons on the side of the phones, they are actually on a remote, which in turn is much more conveient for the user) has three settings no bass, mild, max. This is a great feature for those that don't always want there head being pounded with vibration. Not only does it produce quality bass but the sound is the best i've heard with the ear bud type headphones. The only problem i found with them was comfort. Every time i turn my head they feel like they are going to fall out (they don't but you're always worried they will). Other than that i can not think of any other problems experienced.

THE BOTTOMLINE: IF YOU LIKE BOOMING BASS THESE HEADPHONES ARE FOR YOU and or the person still in doubt after reading this review!

Summary: music experience!
Review: I love my headphones.

When I have to hide in my office at work, on those days when I must get tedious paperwork finished, well, this is the music experience of choice. I have long hair- these 'phones hide under my hair and, well, they ROCK.

Summary: the best headphones you'll ever buy
Review: i love these headphones they are perfect for you if you love to literally feel the base. the only downside for me is that i lost the foam that covers the earphone part, but besides that these headphones are the best!!!!

Summary: Awesome HeadPhones
Review: I received these headphones as a gift. They weren't exactly what I expected, but I must admit, they are amusing. Even though the vibration doesn't mimic the true intensity of base....they are easy to become acquainted with. The sound quality is excellent which shouldn't be overlooked...isn't that the main point of headphones? However, the vibrating is overrated, and my ears are kind of small, so they aren't very comfortable. I suppose the best part of owning them is getting to brag since they just look so interesting....everyone wants to know.
