Review: I've used my pair frequently for about seven months.When used with a pocket-sized player (such as a digital player), the volume control on the cord (which distinguishes this model from MDR-G57G, MDR-G52LP and MDR-G72LP) is convenient---particularly for a person like myself whose playlist often contains classical, jazz and rock. The plastic armature can be adjusted by bending. After a little adjustment, I've found them exceptionally comfortable for extended wear, even with glasses. The slightly obnoxious silver Sony logo is on a pair of plastic inserts that can be removed easily.

Review: These do seem to be a little heavy, I could feel a little difference. These are though very comfortable. The bass seems to sound better than my other headphones on full bass, which is good. There is a volume control on your headphones, but I don't really understand why you need it, unless you really have to change volume. It is a behind the neck strap type headphone, and sort of disappointing that you can't put your head back. After a while though, it starts to hurt, but only for a few minutes, then, more music. It is gold plated, and I got this for [$$$]. It does not fall off your ears unless you start hitting the neck strap. Part of the headphones are made of rubber, to keep the headphones in place. I would recommend it to anybody. Plus, if you really want to hear the music without it, full blast. But, high volumes do seem to be really hard for people to hear (or not at all), like my CD player.
