Rating: Summary: For the price, the best I've heard Review: These headphones provide better audio quality than most costing at least twice as much. The bass response is solid, the middle range is clear, and the higher ranges don't sound tinny or artificial (very present but not overwhelming). The quality of workmanship is excellent (as I've come to expect from Sennheiser). The belt clip that comes with it is useful for keeping your cord neat, and the headphones are quite comfortable for me, though I wouldn't say I have a very large head. I wear these at work usually for 2-3 hours on end.
Rating: Summary: Quality Audio Products Review: These headphones put my similiary priced Sony headphones(which broke) to shame. The sound quality is incredible. Very crisp and warm. The bass is also quite impresseive for headphones. While listening to music, soft noise like hands moving across strings on a guitar or the singer inhaling become audible.
Rating: Summary: A little tight but very worth the price Review: they are a little tight, but if you put the plastic over something wide for a couple nights, they loosen up to the point where you dont feel them anymore. i have glasses and am not bothered by them 'digging into my head'....i have a massive head and average sized ears, and am not uncomfortable whatsoever. also they come with a bigger connection for the nicer sound systems which is nice
Rating: Summary: I never knew music could sound like this Review: Those people that tell you good headphones make a difference, well they are right no more 3 dollar head phones for me any more, as soon as i put these on it was as though i was awakened. The music nearly brought tears to my eyes. I have a big head and they fit in that regard fine it fits my ears fine but my ears arent that big.
I was worried that they wouldnt be that good for the price, but they are. I highly recomend these! Its like I have surround sound with out paying for surround sound.
1. warning they keep noises out pretty well, but as far as voices you can still hear them, but they are much harder to hear.
Rating: Summary: Great quality, lacking in comfort Review: When I read "closed" earphones, I expect the earphones to encompass my ears, not rest on top of them, which these do. The sound quality is crystal clear, and the foam padding provide comfort, but even with small ears, these won't let you forget you have them on. I was trying to buy the Koss TD61's, but I needed a set sooner than those were available, so I went with these. I'm satisfied with them, but if I had to make the decision again, I would not have bought them.
Rating: Summary: Just what I needed Review: While the price isn't all that much more than basic stereo headphones one might buy for a walkman or iPod at a local drug store, the difference is significant. First off, these are comfortable. A little tight at first for those of you transitioning from the aforementioned headphones, but for me, I got used to it after a short time, and it makes all the difference -- the tightness keeps ambient noise out, and that, coupled with the over the ear closed design, is just what I needed -- perfect for the office environment where I was having trouble blocking out the noise around me and concentrating on my code.
The bass is much better than my previous headphones used with the iPod, perhaps a function of the earcups being tighter against the ear. The range is good, I am hearing tones I hadn't heard before.
All in all, a terrific buy -- I'll never go back, and am willing to try other products from this manufacturer. A good upgrade from those drugstore headphones, and for less than twice the price you get more than twice the benefit.
Rating: Summary: Not the most comfortable Review: Yikes! These headphones are definitely tight, enough so that I decided to return them. Not my choice for comfort, especially over long periods of time.
