Summary: Great idea, but...
Review: Be careful when deciding on this product. Personally, I wanted something I could wear while I worked around the house. I could plug the base unit into my computer, stereo, or TV. Great idea - imagine, listening to all the various media all unimpeded from wires! Great idea, but it appears this technology has not yet reached consumer reality.

The headphones are comfortable, and sound great. But the reception is too touchy to involve any movement. If you are going to sit in one place - then this product might be for you. In fact, I wavered at times in my decision to return the product as it works as advertised, but again you just can't expect to move around rapidly. Overall, a portable MP3 player suited my needs better.

If you want freedom from wires, but not freedom from a chair this might be the product for you. However, be warned - if you want to move around freely - expect reception (not quality - quality is fine) to be worse than a distant FM radio station - choppy, and irritating.

Summary: Great when they work...
Review: Brand new, out of the box. Received them last week and have tried to use them twice. Each time they sound great for 10 minutes or so and pffft..they go dead. The red light on the transmitter goes out so it's not a defective battery in the headset. I believe someone else had the same problem, but I thought that was just an exception and bought them anyway....Oh well...

Summary: Great sound, only if you could put up with the hissing ...
Review: I bought this recently and regretted it. The sound is great but when you turn down the volume of the music, the hissing grows intolerable. I have another pair of wireless, a Sennheiser RS45 and there's no hissing at all, well not noticibly unless you pump up the volume to max. Well, wish I had read more reviews before jumping the gun. Hope this helps to warn others, who are thinking of buying. If you can put up with the noise (in between songs) go for it, the sounds fidelity is great.

Summary: Terrible Product
Review: I purchased these headphones 30 days ago, so that my wife can watch TV in bed without disturbing me, but the product is terrible, and they go back to the retailer today.

The headphones come with a tuning dial on the phones to properly tune in the frequency. The tuning is so finicky that it takes 2-3 minutes to fine tune each time you wear them. And finally last night, I couldn't tune them in at all.

For some reason, the volume through the headphones is very low, and the volume control knob, also on the headphones (and unmarked as is the tuning knob) must be turned all the way up to reach an acceptable listening level.

On the only bright side, the headphones are a bit lighter and more comfortable to wear than the competition, but if they don't work, what good is that?

Summary: wonderful!!
Review: I received these headphones as a gift and think they are great. I have no problem whatsoever tuning them in and once they are set, I don't have to re-tune. As far as static, I have had little or no problem. As long as you turn up your stereo, tv, etc. to a higher than normal volume when using the headphones, the volume and clarity of the headset are very good. they could fit better, but I have that problem with all headphones.

Summary: Good cans for the bucks
Review: I use these for watching tv late at night and they work well for this pupose. They seem well made and the sound quility is good. Tuning is not a problem - just turn the little knob until they are loud and clear - takes about 3 seconds. Once they are tuned you just leave them set - but on ocassion they need to be retuned - no big deal. They are not made for exercising or any strenuous work - they are not real tight on the head and will wiggle around it you are moving quikly - but for laying around and watching tv and even walking around they are fine. They are comfortable and the sound is decent and the price is good so I would recomend them.

Summary: No real problems at all
Review: I'm definitely not an audiophile by any stretch of the imagination, but after reading the other review here I can't help but think it was a bit unfair. I just bought these very headphones yesterday, and I love them. The sound quality is average as far as my experience goes... not bad at all, but nothing to write home about. I don't have any problem with tuning them, and any static I receive I attribute to the fact that the transmitter is sitting on top of my computer (lots of interference)--moving it stops that problem easily enough. I can walk all over my house with these on.

My only real complaint with these headphones is the fact that they don't feel secure on my head... this is because the hard plastic is built to be way too big for most people, with a plastic band that turns the headphones on as soon as it's pulled. They're not for those who want to wear them while being terribly active, as whenever I bend down they have a tendency to slip off. It's a minor irritation, though, since I only really use them while sitting at my desk.

All in all, they're great for my purposes aside from the fitting problem. I'd buy them again, and recommend them if you aren't doing anything terribly active!

Summary: Transmitter keeps shutting off
Review: I've been using the RF915RK on my computer for about two weeks now. When it is on, the sound is good, but occasionally the transmitter decides to shut down. (Red light on the unit goes off) ... As far as I can tell this seems to be related to input signal strength, but I've yet to determine a pattern, and it seems to be happening more frequently.

After 6 months of using these headphones on my work computer, the transmitter is no longer stable. It switches off in the middle of a song, while there is still a strong signal. I do not recommend these at all.
