Summary: Overall Best Headset
Review: I use this headset for Gaming.. and anything else that fits my needs, I haven't found anything better than this. If you are going to use this for something other than Gaming or for Business, I advise you to downgrade to an alternative Sennheiser PC model. This headset was designed for Gaming/Business work mostly, in my opinion. One con that some people have problems with is that the headset doesn't fully cover your ears, it just hugs the side of your ears. There are no Cons that I can think of right now. If you're wanting/needing the best, here it is. Enjoy :P. Also it has a lot of cushioning so it's like having a pillow around your head.

Summary: What a deal!
Review: I was looking for a good headset to use on my PC. I had a real cheap one, but everyone was always saying how horrible my mic was. Not only that, but the earphones sounded horrible. I did some reasearch and saw allot of positive reviews on this headset. I'm glad I listened, becuase it's great. The sound in the earphones are amazing. Not only that, but they're real comfortable too. When you're not using the mic, it retracts out of your way. Excellent product!

Summary: Sennheiser PC150 are well worth the simoleans
Review: I've been trying headphones on at various chain stores without much success. But now, I've decided to go and try out Dragon 7, and I needed a headset with a mic. Money wasn't the main criteria. I guess comfort with eyeglasses was my main priority with sound quality a close second. Man was I suprised. I've been listening to music all afternoon and I'm happy. Very comfortable, in fact I can take my glasses on and off without a problem. And for the price the sound is great. The bass doesn't get muddy (Geez, I hate that). My hearing is a little short around the midranges, but I've been picking up the vocals much better than my walkman set or the radio. Did I mention that these rascals are comfortable. I haven't tried the mic out yet, but if it works half as good as the rest of it I'm jazzed. These puppies: A bargain at almost twice the price. Thanks Amazon.

Summary: Initial Impressions
Review: Just got my copy of these headphones. I was looking forward to a decent pair of headphones and wanted something better than what comes with your average portable CD player.
I also wanted something that could let me fool around with voice over IP and spech recognition.

My first thought on putting them on is that they feel a little cheap, because the casing sounds hallow and you get this mess material sitting on your ears instead of leather. They look a little funky with the big roll of padding just under the band that wraps around your head. My wife thinks that I am wearing ear protection, instead of a set of headphones because they are big, I guess thats what you look like after wearing tiny little portable CD headphones for past 2 years.

Anyway the sound is decent, but I miss my old Sony MDR-V300s with their soft leather pressed against my ears. I hope these will hold up in the head band section and not break like my old MDR-V300s did.

After playing a game Im convinced the sound is good and my ears are not too tired from wearing them for a couple of hours.

Summary: Noise cancelling mic, not speakers!
Review: Overall these are very good headphones. I'm no audiophile but *I* like the sound quality. It's not too hard to make the bass distort on these if you turn up the volume and bass in WinAmp. However I've found that if you don't turn up the equalizer's bass much at all, the bass on these headphones really is well reproduced. Just don't overdo it on the equalizer, and the headphones will take care of replicating the bass just fine.

The microphone seems very solid and well constructed, as does the whole headset. The microphone's audio quality on TeamSpeak so far as I've heard from my friends hearing me, leaves nothing to be desired. The microphone has a wide swing range so that you can swing it out of the way completely or position it in ideal relationship to your mouth.

At first when I bought these headphones they hurt my left ear quite a bit after about an hour of wearing them. After poking at the headphones a little bit I noticed that the left earpiece wasn't swivelling like the right earpiece. This was causing the headphone to press my ear back to my head, as the headphones have quite a snug fit. After some very strong "wiggling" on the left earpiece I heard a "snap" and the earpiece began to move freely (like the right.) Annoying that I had to do this, but the headphones no longer hurt my ear and really are quite comfortable (the most comfortable mid-size headphones I've owned.) So I'm happy!

Amazon's labelling of this product is a little misleading. It is not the headset that is noise cancelling, but the microphone. The headset is just a normal binaural headset. However, the noise cancelling microphone will be much appreciated by your TeamSpeak / VOIP friends!

The only gripe I have about this headset is that the inline volume control seems to dim the volume more out of the left ear than the right. This is a *slight* difference and only the most sensitive ears can hear it, but it is definitely there. For me, this makes the inline volume control only really useful for lowering the volume so that I can hear things going on around me. This is nice at work, where I have to talk to cooworkers throughout the day. In my opinion a headset in this price range should really have the impedence on inline volume figured out perfectly, but hey -- you can't have everything, especially not at this price!

That said, the inline mic mute works like a charm ;-)

Overall I am very satisfied with the PC150.

Summary: Amazon is a little misleading
Review: The headphone is a fine and good quality one. However, amazon keeps calling it a noise-cancelling headphone, which it isn't. Only the microphone is noise-cancelling, not the headphone itself.
Overall, I enjoyed this purchase.

Summary: Great for gaming and online talk ...
Review: The PC150's is an xint sounding headset but not quite audiophile quality ; they are however FANTASTIC for PC gaming (off or online) and for use with TS2 (TeamSpeak2). The noise-cancellation mic is xint and the headset is confortable . Look no futher for a great gaming experiance , but look a little deeper for hard music listening .
All-in-all a very nice mic/headset and a great price @ Amazon ( sale price down to $36/SHIPPED)

Summary: Awesome Headphones!
Review: The Sennheiser Headset is perfect for those that want great sound quality and an awesome microphone. The headphones do full range sound with exellent bass. Turn these things up and you hear flawless bass. Many headphones are not capable of playing loud bass, but you would be amazed with these.

The microphone can be pushed up so it is out of the way when you don't need it. A great replacement for speakers. Best pair that I have ever tried!

My rule of thumb is you pay for what you get. The price may be a little high, but it's well worth the quality.

Pros:
-Sound quality and range
-Comfort
-Volume Control on cord
-One of the best microphones on headsets

Cons:
-Others can hear what you are listening to while you use it
-Don't cover your whole ear

Summary: WOW Very clean and crisp
Review: These are by far the best headphone and mic combo I have used for gaming on the PC. The sound quality is fantastic. Lows thump and bump, mids sound true, and high sound perfect. The mic is good and my gaming friends says is clearest they have heard so far.

Game testing: In Call of Duty, I hear everything! I can hear grenades bouncing, people walking past, and the fantastic shelling and fighting in the background. I am also able to hear and determine where people are trying to sneak around behind. These not just have good sound, they give a good sense of what direction the sounds come from. In Counter Strike, they also help finding enemies by great directional sound of foot steps.

The only negative aspect (and it is minor since quality sounds so good) is that the wiring is too thin. It seems like they cut costs here.
