Summary: HDTV at Analog Price
Review: (Read my update below.) I was careful before springing for a relatively unknown brand, although Daewoo is a giant conglomorate of companies and experienced in electronics. The picture quality is excellent even without an HDTV decoder, and the features will satisfy everyone but the most discriminating viewers with the most complex systems. I bought it at a warehouse club at a great price. The manual is ridiculously simple but the onscreen menu is intuitive and thought out. A very good television.
UPDATE. I HAVE HAD THE TV FOR LESS THAN A MONTH AND THERE IS A LOOSE CONNECTION SOMEWHERE WHICH CAUSES THE PICTURE TO GO OUT. THE TECH DEPT AT DAEWOO IS VERY HELPFUL AND THE TV WAS REPLACED OVER TWO MONTHS AGO WITH NO PROBLEMS. GREAT PICTURE QUALITY. IT COULD HAVE BEEN DROPPED IN SHIPPING, BUT QUALITY IS UNKNOWN. IF THE PRICE IS WORTH THE RISK, GO FOR IT.

Review: I bought the TV because the price was right even though I heard the company was going out of business.The picture quality is excellent however I have a lot of problems with the setup.I keep getting screen messages saying I'm over the time limit and I can't resolve the problem using the manual supplied.The TV also has connections for external speakers that I can't get to work.I don't have digital reception so that could be part of my problem (thats not in the manual either)Nice TV I just don't Know how to us it-Thats why I'm on the net

Summary: Daewoo DSC3470N Digital TV
Review: Like the tv. However, after about a month the color started to fuzz when things moved on the screen. Also a green discoloration formed on the edges.Contacted an authorized service center. They and I have been calling Daewoo technical support for the last two months trying to get some kind of information to fix the TV. Daewoo does not seem to support its product or to return calls to its service centers or its customers. If you believe that customer support as a part of what you pay for (especially for something that costs $$$) then you want to buy Sony, Toshiba, anything but Daewoo.

Review: The TV set got here one day late and it didn't even power on. Don't waste your time and efforts buying this piece of junk.

Review: This is the best TV I have ever owned, I don't know how I was able to live without HD TV. I would definetly buy from Daewoo again. I will never buy a non HD set again. I did my homework before the purchase and this was the best deal I could find on a set this large with an HD tuner in it.

Summary: HDTV for an Analog price.
Review: This is the most incredible set I have ever owned, it arrived from Amazon and was installed into my home, they even took away the trash, and my old busted set for me at no additional charge. They did tell my they usually won't take away the old set but said they would since they had a big dumpster. Regardless the picture quality is awsome on HD broadcasts, and it appears to me that regular TV looks better as well. Colors are bright and crisp. I have not had any wierd problems like the other reviewers talk about. I have had the set now for two weeks and have had it on allot. I am a very happy camper, and will definetly be purchasing more Daewoo products in the future, especially if the price to value quotent is as high as it is on this unit.
