27IN Svideo Display/ Tv for Video Conferenceing

Summary: Not too bad -- a nice buy.
Review: When I first plugged it in I was about to throw it out the window. But the more I let it run, the more it seemed to correct those little glitches everyone seems to talk about, except for the loud noise when you turn it on - "fire in the hole!". When I first turned it on I noticed that the picture would jitter very slightly and rapidly up and down whenever there was a logo or bar at the bottem of the screen. This jitter seems to have decreased to a very low (and now tolerable) level. I might have gotten lucky with the screen being level right off the bat, or maybe Sony has addressed the issue. The picture is vey good with a DVD through the S-video cable. All in all, it was a good buy -- after letting it burn in.

Review: why did it cost so much. the sound is ok, the picture is no where near as good as flat screen or HDTV. This should be $100 less. this is a waste of cash
