Review: In short, the best picture television can give short of digital. To be honest, only a monstrosity like this can even come distantly close. Oh, and I'm not kidding about "monstrosity". Find a place and let it sit there, because you'll likely never move it again unless you want to keep your chiropractor very happy!

Summary: Stupendous DvD clarity
Review: On october 9 a new baby entered my life..it was my Sony Wega Trinitron Xbr250 Wega Tv. I know this says fs10 but Xbr owns everything..and it deservers to be acknowledged as if not the best tv as one the the best tv's on the market.

Summary: what a way to relax....
Review: Purchased this set about three weeks ago. Thankfully I have a 1 ton pickup truck and friends who like myself lift weights. This set is very heavy due to the fact that it's counterweighted as a result of the glass being extremely thick to accomodate the flat screen. I rent the packing box out as a condo. I'm a designer and fabricated an industrial steel and castered stand. [NOTE} this set does NOT have a carrying handle on the top. I figure I paid about 6.50/pound for this beast. About the price of fine aged cheddar. Kidding aside...add monster cable component video cables, a good dvd player and a high end stereo system and you will be hard pressed to ever go out to the movies again. I've not experienced any of the problems cited by others on this site. The image quality is the next best thing to HDTV. The onboard speakers/amp are dinky, so forgo the hookups, send the sound image to a good stereo receiver or amp and make sure you have voicemail.

Summary: Oh Most Excellent Wega!
Review: The best gift I have ever given myself was this TV! Like the other reviews have mentioned it has terrific picture, audio and menu options. What I really like is the audio/video jacks that are on the front panel, this makes it much easier to try out different DVD players - until I find the one best suited for my Wega. It is a joy to watch TV again. First thing anyone says when they see it is "Oh man, that is a huge TV", but then they are absolutely speechless after it is turned on!

Summary: Perfect for a home theater system
Review: This is the best TV on the market today (w/ the exception of the XBR version). Whereas curved screens result in glare from light sources throughout the room, the flat screen virtually eliminates glare (unless you have a lamp right in front of the TV). Plus, you can fill your living room with friends for the game or a DVD, and you will still get a perfect picture from all angles. Try that with a projection-TV!

Review: This is the kind of TV that's the perfect centerpiece for a mid-to-high end home entertainment center. It's not so large that it takes up a whole side of the room and is very bright and sharp (as all Sony's seem to be). The flat screen is awesome and once you get used to it, other TV's seem old and clunky. Highly recommended.
