Rating: Summary: Fantastic video and audio quality Review: I actually have the 20 in SonyWega (it's actually VVega withtwo V's).I didn't see this size listed in Amazon, but I'msure it will be soon. This setproves you don't have to buya very large screen to get excellent picture and sound.I have two other Sony Trinitronsand thought they were great until I bought this one.The picture is sharper and brighter and there is absolutely no comparison in the sound quality. This set uses acoustic chambers (similar to the Bose Wave Radio) wrapped around the picture tube and they producewonderful sound. One bit of advice: The factory sets the bass at a very low level whichmakes it sound like an ordinary set.Go into the audiosection and turn the bass upalmost to maximum and you won't believe how good it sounds. Also, before buying a 32 or 36 inch VVega set, realize that you can buythree of these for the priceof one of the larger ones. Also, this set weighs 54pounds as compared to 253 (!!)pounds for the 36 inch. You can easily bring this home, put itin place, and carry it to therepair shop, should the neeedarise.
Rating: Summary: The best 27" TV I've seen. Review: If you're in an apartment or other small living space (so a big-screen TV would be impractical), but you want an absolute top-notch video experience, you can't go wrong here. A flat screen, with simply the best corner-to-corner picture quality I've seen on a screen this size. As you'd expect from a TV this costly, it's very feature-rich, with 2-tuner picture-in-picture and a variety of input options. The sound quality is also quite high for a TV (meaning "You really should buy a good set of speakers to hook this baby up to, but in a pinch, the internal speakers will do fine").When arranging delivery, bear in mind that this set is quite heavy (around 100 pounds); so you probably won't want to tackle lifting it yourself. On the bright side, this makes it burglary-resistant. :) I had to look long and hard to find something I actually disliked about this TV, but I found it; the on-screen menu options are a bit awkward to use, since they're quite overresponsive to the buttons on the remote--unless you have a very light touch, you may find yourself moving through two or three menu items when you only meant to move through one. But this is a small quibble on a truly excellent set.
Rating: Summary: Nothing beats a Sony !! Review: Nothing comes close to the Sony KV-27FV10 27" Television. This is without a doubt the crispest and sharpest picture of any 27-inch television on the market. Sony's WEGA (flat screen) with FD Trinitron Tube and 3-line digital comb filter on this model makes a big improvement over picture quality compared other 27 inch sets. It also has a rear S-video input for DVD and Laser Disc players and Super-VHS recorders for higher picture resolution. Highly recommended. I have another 27" Sony that isn't a WEGA,in my bedroom and I am thinking about replacing it. The best thing about the WEGA is that you don't get a distorted picture if you sit off to the side a bit. Its a great picture sitting anywhere in the room. Great when you have a gang over to watch the game!!!!
