Rating: Summary: Nice TV Review: All around, this is a very nice TV. The only drawback is the remote, which is a bit cheesy.
Rating: Summary: Great TV for the value Review: At first, my heart was set on getting a Sony, but the price was outside my budget. I turned to Amazon to get feedback from folks on models in my price range. As I read the reviews of the other's I thought this might be the model to pick. The display model looked pretty good and for the price, it had everything we were looking for and more. We bought it and when we got it home (rather large box) we couldn't get over the excellent picture quality and sound. Since we are on a Satellite dish, we don't need the feature of the Guide Plus so you need to be quick with the clear button, but my son's vidoe games, VHS, DVD, and TV programs look great. I'm really glad I read the reviews here as it was most helpful with all the selections out there. Thanks!
Rating: Summary: RCA TV=Awesome Review: First of all the tv has 720 lines of resolution which is better than 600. Thats all Iwanted to clear up.
Rating: Summary: EXCELLENT TV Review: Great buy for a 27 inch TV. A+ picture quality and sound.
Rating: Summary: junk Review: I bought the RCA F27650 27" TV and the sound stopped working within the first 4 months. I took it to an RCA approved store to fix the problem. They kept the TV for over a month before even getting back to me with an estimate. They never attempted to contact me, and I had to call several times just to find out what the problem was. The parts were all covered, but just the labor alone was going to cost me as much as the TV cost origionally. I am now the proud owner of a soundless TV that is of no use except for keeping up space in my shed. I will never buy an RCA again.

Rating: Summary: Excellent Picture, Quality, Features Review: I love this TV! I am considering picking up the 4 year extended warranty from Best Buy because I want to make sure I have it around for 4 years or more. The on screen TV Guide is awesome; when turned off, the TV communicates with a service wirelessly, and updates all local and cable programming so you can view it all on screen or free!!!! Once I find a TV show on the menu, I can either tell the TV to record it for me, or turn to that channel, and it's so easy. I have an X-Box and I love the way my football video games look. The speakers will blow you away, and there are enough extra bells and whistles to keep you busy for a couple days. I just programmed my TV to record a basketball game for me tonight, and I've only owned the TV for less than a day. BUY IT!!!
Rating: Summary: An Awesome Television for a Great Price! Review: I was originally set on getting a more reputable name brand for tube televisions such as Sony or JVC. However, when I saw this RCA television on display in a local electronics store I totally changed my mind. The screen itself is less convex than most tube televisions, making it appear like a flat screen and lowering the amount of glare. Aside from the set itself just looking really stylish (the internet pictures do it absolutely no justice), the color quality and screen resolution are spectacular (the screen has 720 lines I believe-- the picture looks REALLY sharp), and the sound is excellent (because of the speakers being on opposite sides of the television rather than underneath it, this television doesn't suffer from the "sound mix" problem some have-- this makes a big difference, especially when coupled with it's "enhanced stereo" processing mode!) The only problem with the sound I have is that DVDs I watch seem to suffer from unbalanced bass/treble (the voices seem too low) but I'm not sure yet if that is the television or the DVD player causing this. It has a good number of varied inputs (s-video, vport, component, etc.) and a sufficient number of miscellaneous features (v-chip, audio modes, color adjustments, TV program schedule, etc). I have a Playstation 2 connected to this TV and have to admit the television is awesome for gaming! To top everything off, and probably most importantly: the price is fantastic! For a top of the line, high quality 27" television there is no way you can go wrong by purchasing this product for such a low price.
Rating: Summary: Excellent Picture, Great Value, but where's the VPORT cable? Review: I've been looking to replace my Philips 27" tv that petered out on me in less then a year. So I ended up at a local electronics store (sorry amazon) I won't say what store I was at. I had about $500 to spend and after looking at Flat screens to 32" tv's I must admit I wasn't impress by anything that I could afford. On my way out they had this 27" RCA TV on an end cap and from the where it was sitting I could compare the picure with some of the higher priced models and the picture was incredible. The digital 3 line comb filter makes a huge difference. The picture is clear and crisp with no color bleed. The guide plus is extremely cool....hook it up to your vcr and you can forget vcr plus codes...program times....just search through your onsrceen guide and push "3" your remote and the set takes care of the rest. It programs your vcr and does the work for you. It will even record the program if your vcr is flashing 12:00. I have my Sony Dream System 5 disk DVD home theater hooked up (through component cables) and the picture is great. I also have an XBOX so the VPORT access was a big deal to me....which brings up one of my two gripes..ONE...if you are going to advertise and make this VPORT a big selling point (there is a huge XBOX logo on the box) for the TV then throw in the darn cable! I'm still looking for this cable. Also one last thing...the User's Guide....who at RCA though it was a good idea to print these manuals up on newspaper?? I know that sounds slight, but these books I hold on to....if you thumb through them a few times they end up looking like the dog chewed them up. With those gripes out of the way - that is all I have to say bad...and none of it is directed at the TV set itself. So I can say without a doubt if you are looking for the best TV bang for your buck this is the set for you. I walked out of the store with this TV set and almost $200 left over out of my budget. Nothing can make you smile like getting a great deal on a quality item and saving some "jing" in your pocket. Hey with the $200 I saved ~ it was time to take my lovely wife to dinner and pick up some DVD sets for myself! Enjoy and Happy Shopping!
