Rating: Summary: Sweet TV Review: ... With the addition of HDTVs & flat screens on the market, the prices on regular(analog) TVs are way more affordable than before. Personally, I choose to wait on HDTVs until their prices come down before I will buy. Anyways, on w/ my review, I believe Toshiba to be one of the best in electronics period. They build excellent quality components. Sony is good also, but are clearly overpriced & sometimes even overrated. This TV comes w/ the better "cinema series" universal (backlit) remote. A complete one year warranty including both parts AND labor. 3-line Digital comb filter. FST Black CRT w/ Invar shadow mask. It's also loaded w/ Inputs for all your A/V gear, this includes: a component video In, 2 rear S-video Ins, 2 RF, and 3 A/V Ins(1 front). What more could you ask for (at this price) ? Compare other brands for this size TV, features, and price. Did I mention that it also has a 2 tuner PIP ? Sweet. Rock on Toshiba!

Rating: Summary: Great T.V. Review: After much research and comparison shopping, I decided on the Toshiba because the picture for a 36 inch tube screen was far superior even to most flat screen T.Vs. The inputs on the back are clearly labeled. They include 1 componite, composites, and 2 S-videos. The satelite picture is astounding in the s-video hookup and excellant in the antenna hookup. The only complaint is the remote. It has only one button to use to move through each of the setting like t.v, vcr, dvd, audio etc.... It should have a button for each instead of having to push one for each of the inputs. In all it is worth it for such a great picture!

Rating: Summary: Great TV for all shapes and sizes! Review: I recently purchased this TV after looking at review after review in both trade mags and at sites like Amazon. I wanted to get a TV with the following:(a) Great picture tube (b) multiple input formats (Component Video, S-Video, Coax) (c) An easy to use onscreen menu for switching (d) Good track record for reliability I was astonished as to how well this tv held up in all 4 areas. The picture, particularly through s-video or component video, is fantastic (actually, the screen is almost flat! If you want to get an "almost-flat screen" TV that is not considered a flat screen, this is a good buy)! The inputs on the back are VERY clearly labeled, and they correspond brilliantly with the onscreed menus. Simply hitting the "input" button on the remote toggles me between my cable, DirecTV, and DVD signals. The sound is the only thing that was not not instantly an "ooohhh". It's not bad, but it isn't as good as the JVC 502. In the long run I plan on using this TV with a dolby digital surround system, so that really doesn't matter as much to me. The picture and ease of use were way more inportant to me. With regards to reliability, this TV held up quite well according to Consumer Reports online. Great TV, probably your best buy until the price of Hi-Def plasma TV's get below $4000.
