Summary: The Product is Defective
Review: I've just found that the S-Video and the Audio/Video Input ports of this item are just defective; I tried to connect my panasonic DVD player to the TV, but this TV just couldn't read any signal. So I called the Philips technical support, and they only suggested me to return this to Target. This is really annoying because the TV is too bulky and heavy for me to carry around. I would say that Philips just doesn't have a good quality control because I had electronics from Sony and Panasonic, and they didn't show any defects like this. Since it doesn't work at all, I wouldn't recommend you buy this item unless you're really concerned about the price. I would rather stick to a dependable brand to save my time on returning items.

Summary: Great picture,,sound is horrible
Review: The pictue is really great, but after about 2 months the bass speaker [fails] and all you get is total vibration from the bass speaker. This is the 2nd one I've owned. The first one had a bad bass speaker right out of the box. I will never buy another Phillips product ever again !! I had big expectations for the Phillips TV, but they were quickly dissolved.

Review: This is a very good flat screen television that has a very good price! I bought it for use in a bedroom when my old television broke down and this 20 inch television is the perfect size for the room, not to big and not too small and I love that it is a flat screen television which my old one wasn't and I love the sleek stylish silver colored modern design of it and I'm also very impressed with the excellent sound with speakers that are on the top, bottom and sides of the screen and I'm impressed with the beautiful clear picture and I like that you can select the sound and picture options that best suit your own personal tastes. Also impressive is the quadrasurf feature that has 4 buttons all of different colors that allows you to save 10 favorite channels for each button at a total of 40 favorite channels and with that feature you can group your favorite channels by catagory such as educational channels, network channels, local channels, movie channels, etc and there are many other good things about this TV too as you can hook up many things to it such as a DVD player, VCR, a game system, a home theater system, etc and once again I have to mention the excellent sound. With my old TV with it's two small speakers on the bottom of the screen I had to put the volume on at least 20 to hear TV shows and I had to put it up to at least 30 to when watching DVDs and videos and I don't have to do that with this TV. I read in Some reviews some people mentioned regretting buying this TV because of a loud buzzing sound that they say they couldn't stand but my TV doesn't make a buzzing sound at all and I'm wondering if it is maybe a problem that has been corrected by Philips. I'm very happy I bought this television and I'm a satisfied customer with no regrets about buying it at all and I own a stereo CD player and a CD boombox that are also made by Philips and I'm very satisfied with those products too!

Review: Unless you are into vertical white lines, this television may not do anything for you. The sound was fine, without buzzing for what it's worth. But we were disappointed on Christmas night when all we had was a vertical white line. I guess that's what you get for not buying a Sony.

Review: When I recieved this product, It was in good condition but broke 5 months later. Besides that, It was extremely ugly. I ou are going to spend this much on this bad of a tv, please get a different one.None of this was Target's fault.
