Sharp's compact, 19-inch 19R-M100 television offers high contrast and low reflectivity with its dark-tint picture tube, while its front audio/video inputs simplify connections with other AV equipment, such as VCRs, camcorders, gaming consoles, and even digital still cameras. A feature called Personal Preference lets you set favorite channels using the supplied remote control to customize your channel surfing (four programmable buttons for a total of 16 favorite channels). EZ Setup automatically sets TV channels to receive standard cable broadcasts, while TV-rating blocking technology lets you control programming to keep young eyes off mature content. Other features include a direct-access remote control, closed captioning while muting, and a view/sleep timer, which you can use to limit a child's viewing or to save energy by having the set power off after you've fallen asleep in front of it.
