Summary: Great TV, Best Price
Review: Despite having a few troubles with amazon.com and a faulty tv(shipping problem?)(was repaired easily...keep your box!) I rate this tv 5 out of 5 stars.

Last night as i watched the tv, i saw the most bold black i have ever seen on any tv. It was BLACK! Not gray, but black.
I honestly say that this tv is the best $/inch ratio you can get. The 20" screen is more than enough in any bedroom, but the 800*1066 pixels blows the socks off any other 20" tv.

Another great feature is the i/o configuration. Most TVs under $500 have at least one composite input. Some go as far as S-video, or even, none at all (other than coaxil). This tv has 3, yes, 3 compostite inputs, an S-video input, composite output, and to top it off, a component input. This configuration is equivelent to my 36" in the living room.

But the best feature I have found on this tv, is the Digital NR. Im not quite sure what it stands for, but it improves the picture quality greatly. Have you ever noticed that little lint type fuzzyness you get on cable? Well this tv ERADICATES them. NO FUZZYNESS!! I couldnt believe it when i turned that feature on! It makes standard cable seem like digital cable.

If you are looking for a small TV for a bedroom, or just a small living room, get this TV. You wont regret it.

Summary: WOW!
Review: I also compare everything before I buy it down to the smallest detail! This TV has such an astounding picture quality that it seems close to HDTV (when it doesn't have a high-definition signal)!!!!! It has a whopping 800 lines of horizontal resolution and has excellent sound! It also has the best kind of input, a component input! It also has the 2nd best, an S-Video input! This has it all and is cheap judging all the cool and high-quality features it has! I recommend this product to anyone who wants the best top-of-the-line 20 inch TV!!! WOW!!!!!

Summary: Great
Review: I research all my products down to the smallest detail. I looked at other 20" flat TVs such as a Sony WEGA and Toshiba and Sylvania. The Sony which is lacking an S-video input for the best DVD picture and the sound of the Toshiba this clearly is the best choice.

Summary: After my DVD player arrives: I might give this TV a 5
Review: I'm more into computer related goodies, thus a basic TV is all I desired since my computer monitor is my main viewing attraction AND I'm a full-time student. Buying a Samsung was *very* uneasy for me since I am a loyal SONY consumer. I compared what I needed for a new TV in order to incorporate my computer/camcorder generated needs (Video/ Audio /DVD Audio / S-Video / Audio-Video Monitor jacks). The Samsung TXL2091 supplied MORE than Sony and ALL others from my set range in TV size to price I was willing to spend. In the end, I am pleased I bought this: I like the user friendly features, the choices to customize, the remote, the sound is okay (yet, I now have it going through my Bose speakers so I'm in heaven) and the picture is pretty STRONG (I just bought monster cables and today a DVD - now I am anticipating the quality of the component video connection). I have an intense feeling when this is all hooked up I'll probably become stationary on my sofa with this TV and my grades will plummet. You CAN'T beat the price with Samsung's features + the front & back jacks! Try. I spent 2 weeks trying - and I kept coming back to this TV! Plus, aesthetically speaking, this TV is a black beauty. I have NO REGRETS. I am quite pleased with Samsung's quality AND with Amazon for shipping this to me for FREE! Basically, you don't realize that there are still high quality bargains out there until you aquire THIS total experience.

Summary: Picture great, Sound suboptimal
Review: The picture and picture adjustment controls are great! 3 factory preset choices are OK, but videophiles will need to use the 4th, custom, choice, which allows separate brightness, contrast, color level, and hue.

Auto-volume works well, and is a must for movies unless you live alone.

16:9 widescreen mode is a must for DVDs that support it - better vertical resolution = a truer picture.

Control menus are smart, and all the features work.

My wife loves the little melody it plays when you turn it on or off, and the black case.

However:

The speaker output contains hum (buzz), which seems like a design defect. It's there with every source and connection setup, and only goes away on mute.

The hum is noticeable in a quiet listening environment, during quiet passages, and can be bothersome at low volume levels.

It renders the 'headphone' jack quite useless, since it is objectionable with headphones.

Also, picture tilt and trapezoid adjustments would be nice.
With the square flat tube and widescreen material, it is easy to notice that the top of our picture tilts slightly.

Summary: Good Picture, Poor Sound
Review: The picture is excellent, the Television has lots of features, however, depending on the luck of the draw, the sound may [disappoint]. I bought this TV a year ago and ended up reselling it, due to poor sound and Samsung's failure to correct the problem. As James has stated earlier a buzzing sound develops in this TV. i brought it into a Samsung Authorized Repair center and they said they fixed the problem. However, when I brought it home the problem re-emerged 5 minutes later. I still think Samsung makes a great tube and I would imaging the newer version of this TV has fixed this glaring defect.

Summary: Good all around quality for the price...
Review: The picture quality on this television is amazing but the sound is lacking. I have had to return this set twice because of a buzzing noise emitted from the speakers. Other than that it is a great item at a great price.
