Summary: Good TV, fixes for some problems
Review: I haven't had the picture quality problems others have described with this TV, but I have had the turn-itself-back-on-after-turning-it-off problem happen. A combination of a different remote control (the one that Panasonic includes is really not that great) and adhering paper cutout devil horns (seriously, it works!) keeps the TV off when it's supposed to stay off. Generally, most people experience that problem when turning the TV off from the remote, so it's really the remote's fault. Otherwise, it's a decent, relatively lightweight, good looking TV with nice features. Admittedly, I wish I had bought a Sony, but this is a great runner-up for a very decent price.

Summary: Best Television for the money.
Review: I just bought this television for my son who is 10 for his room. This television is very easy to work, and the remote is so nice, it is small and compact to fit in his hands. The color of the picture is magnificent. So bright and clear, and the sound is in stero. It also has a radio built into the set, which he set for waking himself on school days. This set also has an outlet in the front and in the back for VCR hookups and video game hookup, which alot of televisions only have hookups in front or in back only. I have priced and compared other sets for months to get the right one for my son, and for the money and features I found this television was worth every penny.

Review: I justg bought this and that night I noticed that some stations have a surging image to them. I also had the problem that sometimes the tv turns itself back on when I try and shut it off.

Summary: Panasonic got it right
Review: I needed a tv for my dorm room. Something that sounded good and had stereo audio video inputs. This tv has it all. Its not very heavy, and it doesn't take up that much room. The model above this one is 30 dollars more, however, its the same tv, but with a better remote. This is the best deal. It can be had cheaper in stores. Awesome television, great picture, sound, and audio. The FM tuner is also very good, it works with an internal attenna which is very cool. I recommend this tv to anyone who is looking for a nice tv, at a decent price, and doesn't have room for a large television. With Panasonic's quality I'm not worried about it breaking anytime soon either. 5 Stars ++!

Summary: Panasonic got it right
Review: I spent a good deal of time shopping for a 20" tv and this was the obvious choice based upon the features. The fact that this tv has a 2 line digital comb filter at [dollar amount] is reason enough to get this tv, but it offers all the other features I wanted plus an FM tuner as a bonus. The artificial intelligence sound control and sleep timer are perfect for people like me that like to fall asleep to the tv. I think this was a great way to save money for what we will all need in about 5 years: DIGITAL TV!

Summary: Do Not Buy This TV!
Review: Multiple problems have been discovered with this tv, and if you purchase one, chances are you will discover them soon. Problems include: picture changing from color to black and white; no reception that requires you to uplug the tv; tv turning itself off, and other times not turning off at all; color parameters only reflecting reds and greens; and several others. For more real reviews visit Cuircut City site. My unit is currently being serviced after 6 weeks from purchase. Do yourself a favor and do not buy this tv.

Review: This model is VERY disappointing...., I had a problem with the TV turning itself back on. It usually took 3-5 tries to get it to stay off. ... Well, mine was off from the beginning, and I still had the problem. Also, the built in FM tuner only received one station, so that feature was worthless. ...

Summary: Won't turn off, Service locations few and far between
Review: We are having the same problem as many others -- the set won't stay turned off. It seems to get worse over time. It was a mere occasional annoyance at first, but now is a real problem. Plus Panasonic requires us to travel about 20 miles to a repair facility (in a major metro area - Wash DC!). Hardly seems worth it! We will try a different remote as suggested by another reviewer, but if that doesn't work I think we'll have to buy a new set.
