Rating: Summary: Don't Buy This!!! Review: I have everything from the set not coming on,to high pitch pinging on this set. It's 2yrs old and not one person I've talked to,(repair Technician) has given me any good reviews on RCA. Dependebility is "0". Craftsmanship, I'm told has alot to do with it! Iwould definitely try another Brand!
Rating: Summary: Big TV, small price Review: Older Mitsubishi 27" dies again - time for a new set. Head off to the various TV vendors looking for something new. Interested in variety of inputs/outputs as the new set will be center of HT setup. Find this model on showroom parked between a Toshiba and a Sony - noticably inferior picture but not $1200 worth of inferiority. Get a GREAT deal and buy the demo. Enlist the help of several friends to get it out of my suburban - it weighs 170 lb+! 1st impressions: Guide+ feature is great Sound is impressive for those of us with no modern sets Picture is nice, but seems dark Build quality is where RCA saves their money - there is not much build quality here - although the front looks nice. I would not purchase this unit if it was EVER going to be moved once it was set up. Final thoughts: Darkness of picture concerns me due to other people experiencing the same problem - easy to correct with black level adjustment. There is an inconsistency between the left and right sides in black level that is not due to a close unshielded speaker. Properly adjusted the picture is excellent. Glare is pronounced in bright rooms due to curved screen. Rear connections are poorly mounted and should be treated very carefully. Overall: Besides these issues and concerns I am satisfied with my purchase. Would probably be happier with Sony, Toshiba, Hitachi - but for the price this is the best available. If any of the above is distinctly familiar to you - you should buy a better TV. If it does not, and you get the set home and it works - you will be pleased.

Rating: Summary: Most Bang for the Buck Review: This product is loaded with features. My wife has difficulty with her eyes at times and the large clear screen has bee a big help. I really like the fact if blended so well with all the other equipment I had. The Guide Plus is great. It is a built in TV guide. We have had no problem with the set. The only draw back is the original settings seem a little dark. This is over come by personalizing the video settings. I also like the close caption on the PIP...
