Summary: bad sound
Review: Bought this at a local store for ten dollars more than Amazon.com. Picture and everything else was fine, though speakers started to buzz, even at low levels. Just returned it.

Review: I have a old philips T.V and I am in the need to get another for my room. I like the brand because it last long and has good sound. Also I like the brand because I never have trouble with it working.

Summary: Where's the rear AV hookups?
Review: It's great to have front AV jacks for game machines, camcorders, etc but why delete the rear jacks commonly used for VCR and DVD hookups? The picture quality is extremely good, the sound is poor for side mounted speakers, and the remote has great features and works super. I can live with the poor quality speakers but the lack of rear AV jacks is more serious...I'm going to return it and pay afew dollars more for a better set!

The sound on the other hand has problems...
There is a buzzing noise!... you can only really change the balance levels or the speakers.

It's an OK TV, that's why I gave it three Stars.

Summary: Excellent TV
Review: This tv can be extremely loud and sounds nice to me. Picture seems crisp to me. My only quirks with it is that the power cable is too short so the power socket has to be like behind or almost next to the tv. The TV has a 16"-18" depth to it so anyone wanting to buy this, might want to consider where it is going. You need minimal of 18" inches of depth for the tv.

Overall: I love this tv set. I would reccomend it to others who need a small 19" set or maybe a family tv.
