The Panasonic CT-36D30 is equipped with a PanaBlack TV picture tube to help combat the glare of ambient light. With glass darker than that of conventional tubes, PanaBlack TV picture tubes ensure a picture with high contrast and accurate color reproduction. Two sets of audio-video input jacks, one set each in front and rear, let you quickly and easily connect the CT-36D30 to outside sources. Most importantly, AV input jacks link your outside sources directly to audio and video circuits in the TV set, bypassing the tuner. This direct connection allows for optimum picture reproduction. The video input is composite video. The CT-36D30 is equipped with a built-in stereo decoder that can receive both TV stereo and Second Audio Program (SAP) broadcasts where available. The dbx noise reduction system helps give you clear, crisp sound with appropriate stereo separation. Artificial intelligence sound control automatically adjusts the volume level to prevent wide variations in sound between different TV stations and types of programming. The lighted universal remote control works with most VCRs and DVD players to help simplify the operation of your home entertainment functions. The lighted keypad makes it easy to change operations in dimly lit or dark environments.
