Summary: very disappointed
Review: we bought this tv 2 years ago ( brand new and not a floor or display model) and have used it much less than the average tv owner (some times it's not even turned on for two or three days at a time) and our picture recently became fuzzy. we took it to a reputable tv repair shop and they said the picture tube showed major wear, as thouhgh it had been used extensively. we paid $1100 for this tv and we are very upset. we have not heard of anyone else having problems with theur jvc models, but this has definately turned us off from buying another jvc tv

Summary: ours appears to be a lemon
Review: We purchased one of these in early September of 2002. After a few months we noticed a bit of fuzziness in the picture and lines on the "black" screen. We didn't think much of it until it died on us in late September of 2003. JVC was gracious to cover the $400 repair. However, another 14 months later and it has died on us again. The TV is 2 years, 2 months old. We purchased it new (not a refurb or floor model) for $1079. JVC says we are on our own. That's a lot of money to waste for a 186lb dead weight in the living room. We will not be replacing it with a JVC, that's for sure!
