Summary: wasting your money
Review: I purchased this tv in Feb. 2001, and it worked fine until October 2001. When I went to turn it on, it came on but there was no picture or sound, and it would automatically cut itself off after about 3 seconds.I contacted Philips Magnavox, and all they could tell me was that they could send a repairman out which would cost me 69.95 for a service call plus labor which would be around 250.00-300.00. I paid around 600.00 for this tv. Wal-Mart even refused to stand behind this product. I felt that it was a waste of time to have it repaired, when I could take the money spent for repairs and buy one that has a money back guarantee.
