Rating: Summary: Toshiba CZ36V61 36" Review: I compared this TV with 35" SONY Trinitron and other major brands. I bought this because this has Component Video Input. For SONY I have to get a Wega to have this I am not thrilled with the picture but it is ok. The remote is the most annoying one. You can only control a TV,VCR and Cable. You cannot control Satellite or any other electronics. I ended up buying a "6 all in one" remote which works well with all my systems. The side switch in he remote to select TV/VCR/Cable is another annoying thing. Otherwise the remote is ok (If you have only a TV|VCR|Cable). This TV has Component Video Input however the S video signal looks much clearer to me than the Component Video Input with my DVD. The tube is a large curvy one comparing to Sony Trinitron. No auto sound control. It has 2 RF,3Composite ,1Svideo,1Component Input and 1 output. This is very rarely found in other similar system. Comparing to SONY Wega price wise this is not a bad TV.

Rating: Summary: Can't beat it Review: I have had my Toshiba CZ36V61 for a few trouble free years. A friend has the same TV and he loves his as well. The only thing I wish it had was a clock. Although I didn't buy a clock I bought a TV and that is what I got, a great TV.
Rating: Summary: Toshiba CZ36V61 36" TV Review: Received the TV and enjoyed it for 2 months and then it broke! I am in the process now of trying to get it repaired and this is turning into a difficult ordeal. I would not recommened Toshiba to anyone.

Rating: Summary: CRYSTAL CLEAR QUALITY Review: This is as about as crystal clear screen one can get without getting a digital ready t.v.. Toshiba brand 36" t.v. with pip is a great buy, and i was convinced after shopping around for a while. Magnavox, Sony and Zenith couldn't compete as far as picture clarity goes. Especially Sony, a real grainy picture in the 36" model. This t.v. has lots of great, easy and convience options all at the touch of a button. There are 3 choices of pip, 1 large, 1 small or 5 channels at once running along the bottom of the t.v., going in station sequence. The sound is amazing as well, but it doesn't have any flux in volume control so one scene can be quiet and the next it can blast through the speakers, making it a bit annoying, but easily controlled with the remote. The only flaw is the remote control. It's slim on top half and chunky on the bottom half, i'm always holding it at the opposite end because it's not like any of the other 50 remotes i have. Also, the tv/cable/video switch is on the side, making it a little hard to get used to were it is at. But that's the only problem being the remote and a minor one at that. The Toshiba 36" t.v. is an excellent purchase for its very clear picture, coming close to looking like a digital picture at a fraction of the cost.
