Review: It's about time that the TV studios started releasing DVDs containing old episodes of the best sitcoms. I'm still waiting for Seinfeld episodes to come out on DVD.
Anyway, the Simpsons is the longest lasting quality sitcom. Most sitcoms become progressively less and less funny with each successive year of production. The Simpsons, however, has broken the general rule by remaining consistently funny since its debut in 1989.
I sincerely hope that Fox soon releases DVDs for seasons 2-11. My favorite episode was the one several years ago where Lisa and Marge left Homer and Bart to help clean up an oilspill. While preparing for bed one night, Bart yells to Homer, "Dad, do I have to brush my teeth tonight?" Homer replied "No, but at least rinse your mouth out with soda." I almost lost it when those lines were uttered! There should be a Homer Simpson book on how to raise children!!!

Review: This is amazing! I have all the episodes on tape (although sadly I've accidentally taped over a few), so I was going to buy the DVD set anyways. But all the extra stuff it has! I'm such a Simpsons fan and I swear I'm having some wonderful dream! September isn't going to come soon enough...

Review: .... So the first season In My Opinion was half good, half bad. There were some duds like "Life in the Fast Lane", "The Telltale Head" and "Call of the Simpsons". However, the first season had some gems like "Bart the Genius", "Bart the General" "Moaning Lisa" and "Krusty gets Busted". I also believe that the first season is the one that started it all, without we wouldn't have had a second season, a third season and so on. If this is only a glimpse of what's to come, we should have some very good DVDs to watch in the future.

Review: I don't know why it took so long to put America's funniest television show on DVD. I guess they just wanted to get it right. Not only do you get the entire first season in digital quality sound and picture, but you also get a collection loaded with extras! No self respecting Simpson fan should be without this collection. I anxiously await the forthcoming installments of this marvelouis series

Review: Looking forward to future DVDs of this series, but anyone who actually watches the reruns from 13 years ago knows how stupid this series was when it first came out. Only when Groenig et al decided to stop insulting the audience with stupid repetitive jokes like "eat my shorts" did this series hit its stride.

Review: I have literally been anticipating this since about 2 days after I first got into DVD about 3 1/2 years ago. The chapter feature of DVD is one of the most powerful differentiators from a usability point-of-view compared to video tape, but chapters in a movie are mostly pointless. This is where chapters make sense - with multiple "shows" on a DVD. And there's only one show that I care to watch - The Simpsons. It's About Time!
