Review: I agree with what everyone else has said in their reviews for the The Cosby Show, and I'm glad to know that I am not the only one who thinks that they should be released on DVD. I love The Cosby Show. It makes me laugh. I've seen seasons 1-8 at least a dozen times in syndication. But they should release it on DVD. I can't believe that no DVD company has thought to release it on DVD, what with all of the other shows that they release on DVD now, such as, All in the Family, Sanford and Son, Mash, Good Times. How could they have missed The Cosby Show. They should release all eight seasons on DVD as a way of immortalizing it for all of us fans. I hope they hear are voices and that their are alot more fans out there to support the release of The Cosby Show on DVD.

Review: I am a single parent of a 14 year old daughter. Whenever I had questions or concerns with my daughter I would reflect back to the Cosby show and wonder what would Cliff and Claire do. One of my favorite story lines of the Cosby's is the Woman Day episode when Rudi started her cycle. This episode not only helped me to explain life changes with my daughter but it also helped me to deal with my own fears of my baby girl growing into a lovely young lady. For years I've been trying to record this particular episode for my daughter and for one reason or another, I've never been successful in taping this episode or others I truly enjoy. I would love to add this to my library of DVD's and I believe in positive role models. Claire and Cliff is the best.

Summary: Middle school teacher who wants to use this show to teach
Review: I echo the comments of the high school teacher and mother who would love to have this show as a way to interact with students in the classroom. The show does have its weaknesses, but with so many other shows out there that are filled with foul language, violence, and sexuality, this is one of the few shows that would actually be suitable to show to students. I've already been waiting for this for a while and would like to see it released soon.

Review: I try to catch the reruns whenever I can. It's one of the best shows in television history and I would LOVE to have it on DVD. Frankly, I can't believe it's not already available!!! Like "I Love Lucy", "The Cosby Show" will be funny forever.

Review: Please please release the cosby show, i am begging you! I am from Austria (Europe) which hardly anyone knows in the U.S. but EVEN here the cosby show is the all-time favorite show on tv and there are reruns but that's not enough: I WANT IT ON VHS OR DVD!
Please make that happen! It's ridiculous how many sitcoms appear on DVD and the BEST of all shouldn't be amongst them? The cosby show is not only a sitcom - it is international treasure! Please let us spend our money on it! Amazon com. will profit from that enourmously if you only make it available for us, I promise:)

Review: There is no sitcom I would rather see available on DVD more than "The Cosby Show!" Especially the early seasons, were so extraordinary and served as the foundation for many people's childhoods. The show broke down countless boundaries related not only to race, but also women's roles, family relationships, cultural relationships and traditions, and the importance of community. To be able to make these morals and life lessons available to a broader audience, by producing a DVD, would be a service to our society (that has shown over and over again that it needs all the help it can get). Please make a "Cosby Show" DVD!
