Summary: Beauty and the Beast- A teacher's Dream
Review: As a life-long Romantic and lover of poetry, the television series of Beauty and the the Beast appealed to my mind, heart and soul. The music was uplifting, the shows riveting and the
inclusion of poetry filled my English Teacher's soul with joy. I
purchased the recording of the music and the poetry that was used in the show and have played it many times for my students.
The show introduced me to some poets that I had not read previously. I did manage to tape some shows, but the reception was bad so they are not very good. A DVD compilation of this wonderful show must be offerred to the many fans who fell in love with the characters. The series showed what true beauty really is.

Summary: Beauty and the Beast needs to come to dvd 2005
Review: Ask anyone in the dorms (mostly the girls) and they remember watching this show. Like me they recall the good times watching this show with their moms. While season one episodes are relatively pricey but easy to purchase on VHS other episodes are more diffcult. If fans are lucky enough to find a former fan to make them copies of the episodes the visual quality is very poor. With the swift rate TV shows and current movies are arriving on dvd I can only hope this show will make the release list sometime this year.

Review: Both my mother and my mother-in-law loved this show as did my wife and myself and we want to see it come to DVD as soon as possible. PLEASE, bring this to the many fans of the show as well as the many fans that would come from its release.

Review: I love this show, and I hope they will put it on dvd. I hope they put every episode on dvd, instead of only first season like they did with the vhs tapes. If you like/love this show please vote to put it on dvd. They put so many dumb shows out, but not this great show. Why??

Review: I was a teenager when Beauty and the Beast premiered on CBS. I made sure to grab my blanket and cuddle in front of the tv for 1 hour. The poetry, the character's, the music was the most beautiful thing on tv at the time. Since then I dont think there has been a series that has captivated an audience the way Beauty and the Beast did. PLEASE release this series on DVD so that faithful fans can fall in love all over again with the series and have the privledge of introducing it to younger generations.

Review: It appears that I am one of many who loved this show. I refuse to believe that the studio would be stupid enough to NOT release this show to DVD. There are all kinds of web sites dedicated to this show. One even organises a strictly B&B convention almost every year called Tunnel Con. Unfortunately they usually take place in England and I'm to poor to travel there :( As far as I know there are no longer any stations showing these reruns in the U.S. and I would jump at the chance to have them on DVD. Please(falls down on knees with clasped hands)release this show to DVD!

Review: This really is the best show ever given on television!! I really wished that I had all episodes on VHS, but sadley I only got a few! The magic between Linda Hamilton and Ron Perlman is really stunning! They play their roles of Cathy and Vincent so well you'd say that they are real in stead of caracters!!! This show was really something to look forward too every week and I really wonder why they dont send it out anymore! Its such a beautiful story for children and adults even! They give so many replay's of dozen's of shows but noooooooo not The Beauty & The Beast its really unbelieveble! Hopefully they will bring all episodes out on DVD soon, I cant wait to buy it!
BRING THE SHOW OUT ON DVD PLEASE!!!!!!!

Summary: Put Beauty and the Beast TV on DVDs!
Review: This show was so unusual in that it inspired fans to help others for charity, read more literature, listen to classical music, and also brought out hidden talents, ie writing, drawing, creativity! This is a show that definitely needs to be released on DVDs. Fans have worn out their tapes watching them over and over. We need our show to be put out on DVD! Vincent and Catherine demand it.

Review: This was one of the best TV series that was on during the 80s. How television watchers let this one end up cancelled is beyond me. They just never realized what a great show it was. Maybe it was too different for the average watcher to understand. Maybe it was beyond them to follow its meaning considering what shows were on during this time. Ron Pearlman and Linda Hamilton were great as well as the others that were in this series!!

I watched the reruns that were on for a short time and loved everyone. I'm glad I was one of the lucky ones to watch this great series. This was the last series type show that I watched every week. There are none that I have so much loyalty to since. Especially in the age of Reality Shows.

Please let this be released on DVD. I would buy everyone on them!!! A whole new generation needs to see it!!!

Review: This was the best tv show from the 80's and we dont get to see such deep and emotionaly envolving shows like this anymore. I think it is unfair that we get shows like sanford and son and spongebob squarepants on dvd but not great dramatic shows like this that have intelligence, fantasy, drama, action, and most of all a love story with scripts that read as poetry.

I think it is past time that these tv and movie production companies start catering to us the 70's and 80's generation that actually have the money to purchase these dvd's instead of the cultural bankrupt new generation of kids that have no money. Let them waith 20 years to get their shows the time for nostalgia is for us now.!!!
