Rating: Summary: 7th Heaven and I Love Lucy-Television Brilliance! Review: I loved this DVD collection. I first heard about "7th Heaven" from my sister-in-law, Julie, who said this was her favorite show (that title has since changed to that stupid Donald Trump show, but whatever)and then I found out that my "cousins," my best friend's family and one of my good friends all watched the show. So I became curious and watched some of season nine. I adored it and had to get the First Season DVDs. I'm glad I did.
Despite some evil, cynical reviews on how "annoying" she is, I really like the character of Lucy. She reminds me of me, except the fact that she has a boyfriend by age twelve is entirely unrealistic even though they don't even kiss throughout the entire season.
Being a member of a pastor's family myself, I tend to compare my life with the Camdens. They have a better lifestyle, a larger congregation, and a larger family but other than that it is a lot like my life. I love the little jokes involving Ruthie, who is adorable, and Simon. Their relationship as the younger siblings of the house is admirable.
This is one of two of the greatest shows ever produced on TV.
Rating: Summary: Can't wait! Review: I truly hope 7th Heaven is released on DVD. My whole family watches the show together all the time. We watch the new episodes every Monday night, and re-runs on ABC Family every day of the week. Sadly, we missed most of it, and didn't become fans until the end of the last season. I'd really like to know what went on in the first few seasons! I really hope that it's released on DVD - I'd buy all the seasons!

Rating: Summary: 7th heaven is the best show that was created Review: Please put this show on Dvd i'll buy ever one that comes out.I watch all of them that comes on.It dont matter if its a rerun i still watch them..There are so many 7th heaven fans out there that want this DVD to come out... it's their dream come true. Well at least it's mine. But seriously... soo many people are waiting for the opportunity to buy it! It's been the best show on the WB for 4 seasons and I cannot believe there is still not a DVD out for the show. The show is so touching and great for the family that there should be no reason to doubt that no one is going to buy it. You would have to be nuts to think that. This show is great... and to all the 7th heaven cast memebers out there GOOD LUCK! And keep it up!! it's the best show ever created... and I would never miss an episode. I LOVE YOU GUYS. And fans.. keep trying to get this dvd out on the store shelves because it means a lot to me and I'm sure it means much to you too! :) Thanks again Amazon I hope you consider my request xoxo! 7th heaven RULES I'd buy all 9 series in a flash.
Rating: Summary: If only they had the option of "no star" Review: This series is horribly scripted. The dialogue between characters is, at best, weak. In addition, the characters themselves are portrayed so melodramatically that they are incredibly annoying (ie, Lucy Camden!!). Finally, the scenarios that the Camden family find themselves in each week are simply not believable. As such, I would not recommend purchasing this product.
Rating: Summary: Garbage TV Review: This show, like many others, over dramatizes every little experience one has, the characters are ignorant, close-minded, and can't act. The entire family strives for perfection and comes no where close in doing so because of their lack of intelligence and horribly written plots. This over christianized family strives to do the christian "thing" and comes no where close.
Rating: Summary: 7th Heaven On DVD Review: Well, since I am the first to review 7th Heaven let me say that this series is great. The very first season of 7th Heaven will feature the original year one episodes. It will have the core family of 7: STEPHEN COLLINS as Eric, CATHERINE HICKS as Annie, BARRY WATSON as Matt, DAVID GALLAGHER as Simon, JESSICA BIEL as Mary, BEVERLY MITCHELL as Lucy, MACKENZIE ROSMAN as Ruthie (and HAPPY as "Happy" comes on a few episodes later). Over the years several characters have come and gone. The most noticeable one was when Jessica Biel left as soon did Barry Watson, (They return from time to time). David Gallagher however, left indefinitely at the start of season 8 after a 5 episode run, he was featured in the first 4 versions of the opening credits and then removed in the 5th where Beverly Mitchell moved to spot 3 hung on the longest by Barry Watson. (David moved to spot 3 after Barry left to show for medical reasons. David himself left because he wants to go to college in real life and make movies, just like his character Simon.) The thing that always surprised me was that 7th Heaven has the best organized opening sequence. They always add or remove characters who are not in that particular episode. I must say however, they should change their font and video clips (updated theme song music in spring of 03'). The opening should have the cast looking at the camera for one long shot (like ABC's All My Children Opening Sequence fall 02'- present, General Hospital Opening Sequence april 03'- present, Popular Opening Sequence, etc.) instead of 3 short ones, have a more stylish flashy font, and have a fan blowing the girls hair. 7th Heaven is best known for it's lessons and very much procedureal format (which annoys some viewers) but hey if they don't like it they can go back to whatever else they watch. As the show went on it later strayed away from the core family and introduced several new characters. Some were added to the opening credits while others were not. This DVD will be worth a buy for me, I have watched this show from when it first started and I was 12. I think that it is cool that I grew up watching this outstanding show.
