Rating: Summary: Correction Review: For the reviewer that says the season is incomplete, you need to know that the episode "Fear Not" is NOT a two part episode in season one. The 2nd part to which you refer was actually the Christmas show for season 3.
Lord I hope they release the entire series on DVD.
Rating: Summary: Fear Not Review: For those of you were asking, "Fear Not" was an episode in and of itself. The same characters, Joey, and his brother, played by Randy Travis, however, appeared in a follow-up episode, "The Feather", however, this was not the second part of "Fear Not".

Rating: Summary: What TV Could Be Review: Having finally bought my very own copy of Touched By An Angel, the complete first season on DVD yesterday, I'm happy to report that it's still every bit as wonderful and relevant as it was in the initial broadcast. As a 50+ year-old military retiree, I'm happy to say that I love this show and never missed an episode in the 9 years it was on, though it makes me tear up from time to time. Some of the episodes I've viewed multiple times on tape. Since I usually work night shift, I always had to record the show in order to watch it, but it was well worth the time to do so.
It's too bad that the television producers don't know how to come up with more wonderful family-oriented programs like this one. The show's producers, directors, writers and especially Roma Downey should have won multiple Emmys, but you know how Hollywood works. The lowest common denominator gets all the kudos. A special 'thank you' goes out to the executive producer, Martha Williamson, without whom this show would have been impossible.
Though I've had my first generation Philips DVD player since they were introduced in 1997, I've only bought one other TV series on DVD, which was Smallville, another well-written series that can be viewed together with your family. In 2005, we have a total of 7 DVD-capable units in our household - including 2 computer-mounted, a portable, a PS2 and a DVD recorder - but still a dearth of quality TV shows.
Touched By An Angel is the only other one that is worth buying, and I'm certainly glad that I did.
Consider this DVD set a worthy investment that you will not regret!
PARAMOUNT: Please keep releasing all of the seasons! Thanks!
One final note: I believe that angels are real and can appear in any form at any time. Of course they can't all be blessed with the perfectly-cast winsomeness of Roma Downey.
Rating: Summary: PLEASE! Put This On DVD Review: I have over 4000 DVD's in my collection. The biggest hole is not owning Touched By An Angel. This was one of the very very few programs on network TV that my family and I watched in the last 10 years. I don't know how to emphasize enough how great this series was. When it was on, the program was not understood by the network elite, it was wholesome, uplifting and presented God in an accurate, biblical manner (how horribly politically incorrect!). Message to who it may concern: while on TV, there was a huge audience for the program of people like me who did not watch the normal trash on TV, and there will be a huge demand for this on DVD if you will just make it available. Please do.
Rating: Summary: Very.Cool.Series! Review: I love this show. It has made me look at life a whole different way. I love all the episodes, especially the one:For All the Tea in China. I hope this will come on dvd real soon
Rating: Summary: Hoping for Complete Season on DVD for This Wonderful Show! Review: I love Touched By an Angel, it was and still is one of my favorite television shows and I'm hoping that the complete first season will be released on DVD soon and the rest of the seasons too. A Very heartwarming, inspirational television show like this should have complete seasons on DVD!
Rating: Summary: Awesome the Second Time Around Review: I loved Touched by an Angel when it was on television. But, like most anyone, I didn't catch every single episode. One of the things I love about this set is finding out where Tess got her red convertible. Seeing "Adam" the Angel of Death was new again. I also really think it is great that this set includes the 2-part series finale. You really see how much of Season 1 was in that series finale. Lastly, this time I was able to watch Touched by an Angel with my daughters who were only Toddlers when I watched it before. They really love it and we passed around the tissues generously! A must have in your collection!
Rating: Summary: Absolutely the BEST! Review: I received this set of DVDs for Christmas and have already watched them twice! My biggest question is, "WHEN ARE MORE GOING TO COME OUT ON DVD??!!" I look forward to enjoying them time and again! Thanks Martha and God Bless You-
Rochelle
Rating: Summary: all seasons Review: i think its wonderful they finally came out with a tbaa dvd on the first season, in my opinion its such a great show and they should have all the seasons!!
Rating: Summary: TBAA, a must-have on DVD! Review: I watched TBAA from beginning to end. It was the most wholesome show out there on network TV during peak hours (primetime). It's funny how easily it is to find many TV shows being put on DVD even while they're still running. They're selling like crazy, I might add. Perhaps CBS and the creators of TBAA are afraid that sales won't be very profitalbe due to the type of entertainment a lot of people enjoy. Trust me, there are more TBAA fans out there than there seem to be. Just look at the ratings for Passion of the Christ. People are still flocking to the theater to see this film (which is encridible). There are people who would buy the TBAA series on DVD. Some people still enjoy wholesome television. Hopefully someone with connections to the right people will see our messages and decide to release it on DVD.
