Review: The critically acclaimed Freaks and Geeks is finally getting a DVD release, and that is fantastic. Now, it's time for the same treatment for one of the most superb examples of television comedy-drama, The Wonder Years. Capturing everything about what it is to be a teenager (in any era, but especially the late 60's/early70's), TWY is simply incomparable, and while you can make comparisons to Freaks and Geeks, the show is in a league of it's own. OUTSTANDING!

Review: I want to urge to everybody that visits this page looking for the "Wonder Years" DVD to take their time to sign up their e-mail and write a review here. It is very important we make ourselves heard. Maybe it will make a difference, maybe it wont, it certainly wont hurt. We need to do our part in order to get this wonderful show out on DVD. Like a reviewer pointed out, I can't think of the possibility of someone who watched this show and not relate to it. I didnt grow up in the 70's, but I grew up with those characters and even now 10 years later I am still touched. This is TV at its best folks. The complete series should have been released on DVD ages ago.

I myself From United Kingdom, Have Memorys of this great Show with Kevin and Winnie and there On Off Romance...It was a Show that took you through a group of friends Who's Voices Broke on the Shows..From being Kids they became Adults and WE all had the Pleasure to grow up with them.....So i Myself am crossing my Fingers and Hoping one day they Will be on Dvd..................

Summary: Did The Wonder Years touch you too?
Review: I love this program so much. I think eventually they should bring out all of the episodes on DVDs. It would be so great. I find that every episode moves me in some way or another because you can relate to it so closely. It is done so well too that it can emotionally move you. After watching "graduation" and he said "I guess thats when I knew that the old days were gone and things will never be the same again" I felt so emotional and it makes you long to go back to your childhood and re-live it but as he says; it's painfully not possible.
I agree, this is better than a lot of other crap TV series they have put out on DVD. It is a classic show with so much relevance to today's childhood and society in general.
Since they cannot be bothered to put it out on DVD, I have managed to download about 18 episodes off of the internet. :)
Please e-mail me [e-mail] if you wanna talk about Wonder Years. I will be overwhelmed to talk to someone who's actually heard of it. (Its unbelievable the number of people who've never heard of the programme! another reason why it should be put back on TV and released on DVD and not as a shoddy VHS with a pathetic 2 episodes on it!)
