Summary: Please release a boxed set with all 19 episodes!
Review: I love "My So-Called Life." It is my favorite TV show of the 1990s.

I watched all 19 episodes when they originally aired. I even remember that one of the episodes (the one with the gun) had to be postponed because a few minutes after it started, the program was interrupted by a news story of a plane crash.

This show touched something inside of me that no other show ever has.

I wish that BMG would release a boxed set with all 19 episodes. I would buy it in an instant.

Many of my friends are big fans of this show. But none of us has purchased this DVD, because we are all waiting for a boxed set that has all of the episodes.

I know that this DVD has not been selling very well. I worry that the people at BMG may be thinking that this means that there is a lack of interest in the show. If so, then they are mistaken.

People aren't avoiding this DVD because they don't like the show. Instead, they are avoiding this DVD because they want a boxed set with all of the episodes.

Let's fact it - this series was a very serious, well written, plot-intensive story. Having only 3 of the episodes simply would not make sense. To really be able to appreciate it, you need to watch all of the episodes, in chronological order.

So if anyone from BMG is reading this, please take my advice! Please release a boxed set with all 19 episodes! If you do, then the fans of the show will gobble it up and you mill make lots and lots of money!

This was a great series, and it deserves to be preserved in its entirety in the DVD format. Let the fans have the opportunity to purchase all of the episodes in one nice, complete package.

Summary: My So Called Life - Full of life!
Review: Nominated for four emmies, winner of one golden globe, this show was canned and flamed undeservadely. The writing, acting, direction, and pure eye candy cinematography ooze not only excitement but also show a talent not regularly associated with a low-budget tv series.

This show launched Claire Danes up to the dizzy heights of her fame with "Romeo and Juliet" along-side Leonardo DiCaprio and Brokedown Palace. Her character, Angela Chase, is brilliant in her observancy and her insights get people reliving what it was to be a teenager. But shes far from the heroine we normally get spoon-fed, she fights for what she gets, and gets there in the end.

The show was cancelled after just under 20 shows and in many this might have been a good thing because it was always fresh and lives on in my mind as being one of the best series ever to hit our tv screens.

Get the dvd or video, relive those memories!

Review: This television series was amazing. The writers brought a realistic teen high school style program to a world of 90210's. The characters in the series deal with real life issues that many can relate to. In all fairness, the characters are, at times, general stereotypes, but they are realistic ones. We dont see a group of just "the cool kids" or just "the bookworms"-we see everyone interacting together. The average girl is friends with the alcoholic. The neightbor is the weird outsider who finds himself talking to the "normal" girls father...who is umemployed. The actors are perfect, as are the stories. I wish the series had lasted another season.

The vhs copies are great, but no one wants vhs anymore. I am hoping the rest of the episodes are released on dvd. If you have not seen the show at all, order the dvd. It is cheap enough to try. You're sure to like the content

Summary: I love this show!!!! (by Ashley)
Review: I watch this show on The-N (they play re-runs at 11p.m. Monday
through Thursday , and on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 8:30,
10:30 and 12:30 at night), and at first when I saw the commercials for it I thought it would be a stupid drama series.
Boy, was I wrong! The first episode I saw was "Dancing in the Dark", and the minute I started watching, I was hooked!!!!!!

I love the entire cast of that show ---especially Rayanne (A.J. Langer), and I was dissapointed when I found that they cancelled
the show in 1995. I was only 2 1/2 when they started airing the
show, and I really wish I was the age I am now so I could see
the show when it first aired. I was acting a little retarded when I
thought the show was gonna be stupid when I saw the commercials for it on The-N... I didn't even watch it or anything (yet!:))!!!

I can't believe it was cancelled. I mean, to me and all the fans of this show, My So-Called Life is like a drug (a good kind;))
because you get hooked or addicted----whatever you want to call it!!! It has its good moments, its bad moments, its sad and dramatic moments, its moving ones, its funny ones....IT'S DRAMA!!! This is my #2 favorite drama series (#1 is Degrassi). I
don't think there is any possible way it could get better!!!!!
Buy as many videos or DVDs as you can---I HIGHLY recommend it!!!
If you don't usually watch this show, catch it on The-N!!! I truly guaruntee you will be hooked!!!!!!!
Hope this helps!!!!! Ashley ;)

Summary: Don't own this, but the complete set
Review: I agree with the last reviewer. I am a huge fan of the show, My So Called Life, and was very sad when they decided not to air it any more. Luckily though, a local movie store started to carry these boxed sets of the show. I was happy again. I bought the first two boxed sets on video (one tape being the video form of this DVD selling on this web site). I came back again and again for the third, for the last episodes. Because each set, as you see, only contains six episodes. (two on each video tape or DVD) Unfortunately for some reason they discontinued them. So I have searched far and wide for the last boxed set that was apparently dicontinued and I have had no luck so far. I am now anxious to watch the other episodes seeing as when I am done watching the first twelve, I am continuously left hanging. Knowing there are seven (I thought there is only 18 episodes all together, I have now been informed there is 19!) All in all I agree with my fellow fans of the show. NO MORE MESSIN AROUND! Either continue the sets again, ALL OF THEM! Or come out with a boxed set with THE ENTIRE SERIES! EVERY EPISODE! I will for sure be one of the first to buy it. It is true the reason this DVD is not selling well. We want ALL the episodes! Not just three, or six, or twelve...ALL OF THEM! Well thanx for listening. Hope to see the entire series soon. PS I gave the DVD a five star rating based on the show itself, not the form it comes in.

Summary: What's wrong with this Distributor !!???
Review: I did buy this DVD and I love it. It compliments the scattered VHS episodes I have but I too long for the entire series to be available on DVD. Somebody, anybody, powers that be, take a page from the "Buffy" book and release this series on DVD finally!

Summary: I need much more
Review: Like every other reviewer, I agree...We need all episodes in a box set. As a teenager at the time, I adored each and every episode. In fact, I have a lot more than three on VHS tapes. I'd love to share this with anyone interested, as I could provide much more than they are offering.
