Summary: The Best TV Show Ever Deserves Better
Review: 'My So-Called Life' fully deserves it's reputation as the best (a shortest-lived) show about growing up ever made. It's staggering and absolutely heartbreaking in it's acute observations of human behavior. It's also wildly funny in parts, and certainly not "just another teen show." It will always have a very special place in my heart and in the hearts of millions of fans around the world. Yet I've given this DVD a 1 star rating. Why? Here's why: All fans of the show are asking for is a DVD set of all 19 episodes. That's all. We want nothing more. Is that REALLY too much to ask? Why even bother with this pitiful 3-episode release? 'My So-Called Life' only ran for ONE SEASON. Surely a boxset can't be that much trouble for distributers? (You only need look at the *millions* of 'Buffy The Vampire Slayer' boxsets that have been sold to know what a good idea this whole "bulk episode release" (ie; box-set) thing is.) There's MUCH money to be made here! Many eager customers just WAITING to buy! What on EARTH are they waiting for??Whoever's in charge of releasing the series on video/DVD needs to get their arse into gear before fans (or some nefarious, enterprising individual) get so fed up they start making and distributing their own pirate DVD copies...

Review: Like every other reviewer, I agree...We need all episodes in a box set. As a teenager at the time, I adored each and every episode. In fact, I have a lot more than three on VHS tapes. I'd love to share this with anyone interested, as I could provide much more than they are offering.

Review: This show is amazing. I watched them all when they were released and taped them when they were rerun by VH1. My tapes are old and degrading in quality, but the show still shines. I won't buy this DVD, but I'd buy a boxed set in an INSTANT. Please, take my money. I want to give it to you, but not for this. You cancelled our show and left us with nothing. Please listen to the fans and give back. I guarantee you a boxed set would sell very well. We're ALL waiting.

Summary: Throw a Gen-Xer a bone!
Review: College life, my friends, Boone's farm wine, Camel lights and "My So-Called Life", as we tuned in every week, watching the marathon's religiously and drooling over Jordan Catalano. "You think I'm cute....Your Mom said you think I'm cute..." Aaahh, PLEASE SELL THE BOX SET!!! We're all married now and going through life-changing experiences (one pregnancy and one death of a parent). Experiencing it all again would be so therapeutic, as we were all such fiercely-loyal friends to Angela.

Summary: it's finally here!
Review: This series makes my heart ache like no other. The writing, the acting, everything is superb. I could not believe the boneheaded decision that ABC made to cancel this amazing series. I taped every episode during reruns and have watched them late at night with my sisters during our annual MSCL marathons. Imagine the joy I felt when I learned at the unofficial mscl website that the entire series is being released on DVD by another universe! I am so proud of all the fans who signed the petition and made this happen. This is the first ever fan-driven release of its kind. Luckily I was able to pre-order before the deadline, and now I can't wait for all 19 episodes to arrive on my doorstep so that I can watch Angela and her world over and over again. I swear, it's just a mild obsession. =)
