Summary: lindsay's review
Review: I am actually Mary Jane's daughter and I'm not really sure how to get in touch with BMG to let them know how I feel or what I want. All I know is that I love the show when it was on and I still love it to this day. I know it wasn't the most popular show, but it obviously developed a pretty large fan base. All I'm saying is that the full series should be made available to the fans, especially the die-hard fans. I have been trying to get the complete set, VHS or DVD, for some 4 or 5 years now. I think I remember seeing a few VHS tapes on sale for $30.00. It would be nice if we could get a full set of DVD for like, $40.00.
As far as the episodes I have goes, they are excellent and I think that Claire Danes is one of the most exceptional, young actresses to come along in a while. I love this show. I usually cry at most of the episodes.

Summary: Great DVD
Review: I highly recommend the DVD for any fan of the show. The image quality is great. I have SuperVHS recordings of every episode, and I still plan to buy each DVD that gets released.

This is one of the few realistic, quality shows to appear on TV. Many people seem to think the show focuses on the teens, but the adults also have a large part in each episode. The show presents everyone's So-Called Life. ...all ages.

I am tempted to disagree with those of you waiting on boxed sets. How can BMG know there is an interest unless people buy what's available? This DVD has previews for 2 future DVDs. I don't expect BMG to be reading the reviews written here so how can we let them know about our interest in the series? I would recommend buying it now, or we may not see any more episodes released on DVD.

Summary: One of it's Kind
Review: This is one of those rare genius', smart TV Shows out there. I just recently discovered 'My So-Called Life' last year while flicking through cable and saw A.J Langer as Rayanne, who is one of my all time favourite actors. I then saw Clare Danes come onto the screen (who I'v always liked), and then I saw Jared Leto, while the time I was thinking ''What is this show'', I couldn't help but notice and be impressed by the humour of it and the true honesty of it. Watching Clare Danes as Angela Chase and her questioning of things and the humour of Rayanne, I really felt that I had stumbled onto something special and unique. Now I'm really femiliar with the show and a definite fan, I have yet to buy this on DVD but I can't wait to be the proud owner of this fine, witty, wonderful show.

Summary: Best Show Ever!!!
Review: I worship this show and I have since the first episode aired. I was happy to be able to purchase this DVD but I'm really interested in the box set. Hopefully they will keep releasing the all the episodes on DVD.

This show was the most realistic portrayal of the life of high school students, and EVERYONE can relate to it. I still don't understand why it was cancelled.

Summary: WHY????
Review: I am still unable to believe that whoever owns the rights to this television show does not yet have the brains to understand that there are legions of fans out there who would purchase the entire series on VHS and especially DVD at any cost!!!! I was so happy to see that at least three episodes are now available on DVD. I am in my thirties, and I and many of my friends still love this show, make enough money to purchase a box set (hint hint) and eagerly await it's release on DVD! Wake up owners! I obviously think that this DVD was wonderful and I hope for the rest soon!!!!!!

Summary: THE BOX SET IS BEING RELEASED ON SEPT 17!! NOT HERE THOUGH!
Review: This was one of my favorite shows EVER. Thank goodness that I taped it during one of MTV's marathons because the VHS and initial DVD releases did not include every episode. The five star rating is for the show, NOT the Pilot/Dancing in the Dark/Guns DVD. Shame on BMG for not releasing the rest of the episodes years ago. Cut to an online petition signed by over 3000 MSCL fans...

FINALLY the box set (5 discs of all 19 episodes, plus a bonus disc with extras) is being released by BMG *exclusively* through anotheruniverse. Although it is too late to receive the special collector's edition lunchbox (available only to those who preordered in February), I believe that they are still accepting orders. Anotheruniverse did say that they are manufacturing a limited run, so I don't know how much longer they will accept orders. A word of warning: MANY preorder customers have had problems with anotheruniverse so be sure to order using a credit card, NOT a debit card!

I can't wait to have my own MSCL marathon!! 19 hours straight of Angela and Jordan all over again. :D

Summary: Don't own this, but the complete set
Review: The complete set is available on DVD through this site as well as others. So stop complaining.

Good show. DO NOT order through Another Universe, it is not worth the hassle. It is no longer exclusive to them, so you have a choice. Buy it now. It's up to you. Just don't buy from AU. You have been warned.

Summary: THIS SO CALLED DVD
Review: I agree with the last reviewer. I am a huge fan of the show, My So Called Life, and was very sad when they decided not to air it any more. Luckily though, a local movie store started to carry these boxed sets of the show. I was happy again. I bought the first two boxed sets on video (one tape being the video form of this DVD selling on this web site). I came back again and again for the third, for the last episodes. Because each set, as you see, only contains six episodes. (two on each video tape or DVD) Unfortunately for some reason they discontinued them. So I have searched far and wide for the last boxed set that was apparently dicontinued and I have had no luck so far. I am now anxious to watch the other episodes seeing as when I am done watching the first twelve, I am continuously left hanging. Knowing there are seven (I thought there is only 18 episodes all together, I have now been informed there is 19!) All in all I agree with my fellow fans of the show. NO MORE MESSIN AROUND! Either continue the sets again, ALL OF THEM! Or come out with a boxed set with THE ENTIRE SERIES! EVERY EPISODE! I will for sure be one of the first to buy it. It is true the reason this DVD is not selling well. We want ALL the episodes! Not just three, or six, or twelve...ALL OF THEM! Well thanx for listening. Hope to see the entire series soon. PS I gave the DVD a five star rating based on the show itself, not the form it comes in.

Summary: What's wrong with this Distributor !!???
Review: You know the old saying: "Boxed set of the show = MUCHO DINERO" -- DUH.
This particular DVD ROCKS and is too little to offer us !!
Box the series in a set please ASAP. . . Thank-You.

Summary: Gimme the box set, dangit!
Review: I did buy this DVD and I love it. It compliments the scattered VHS episodes I have but I too long for the entire series to be available on DVD. Somebody, anybody, powers that be, take a page from the "Buffy" book and release this series on DVD finally!
