Review: I've loved Roswell ever since I saw the first show and am preordering it now. It had everything: well developed plots, deep characters, and great actors. I'm sad that the networks never really gave it a chance, it was hard to catch for a while with all the moving around. I wish that the show had more time to explore the complex plots it had coming up, but am grateful they didn't leave us a real cliffhanger.

Summary: Incredible Season, Unfortunate Music Situation
Review: Season 1 of Roswell is simply one of the best television seasons ever. The shows combined elements of science fiction, drama, and humor into a suspenseful and tremendously entertaining mix. Season One contains many, if not most of the best episodes of the show. Excellent standout episodes include "Pilot", "Leaving Normal", "Heat Wave", "Balance", "The White Room", and "Destiny". The rest of the episodes are also very, very good.The DVD release will have many extras including commentary tracks on 7 episodes, deleted scenes with commentary, three featurettes, actor auditions, a music video, and a gag reel. And now the bad news and the only reason I'm not giving this release 5 stars. Because of the extreme costs involving in licensing the music used in the series, some if not all of the music will be changed. If they had not changed the music, the DVD set would be much more expensive and Fox would probably have to scrap the whole DVD release. I wish there was some other way, but I don't think there is. Not enough people would buy the DVD set at two to three times the price. Bottom line, don't let the music situation stop you from owning one of the best television seasons, complete with a great set of extras.

Summary: Be Prepared - Music is Changed
Review: I am a huge fan of Roswell and am looking forward to the release as much as anyone. It is too bad they couldn't get the rights, or it was too cost prohibitive, to have the original airing music in the DVDs, but it should be good either way. The deleted scenes and commentaries on every disk are really something to look forward to. Hopefully they will pick music that accurately reflects the moods of the moment and not bring down the show we all know and love. I have seen poor selections ruin other releases on DVD when music is changed, we'll see what happens here. Either way, I know I will love it!!

Review: oh my word. i am so freaking happy. roswell is like my favorite show and was sad when it ended so quickly and even more when they release dumb show like once and again or sports night but now it is happenig. i hate reviews that spoil the show so i am gonna say the the actors were great like jason behr and majandra delfino and just awesome well bye bye

Review: If I could give Roswell more than 5 stars, I would. It was such a wonderful show; it's sad that it only lasted 3 seasons. The show was about 6 (later on more) teens at Roswell high. Three are aliens; three are not. Every episode was filled with action, drama, and romance. The great thing about this show was that it had more drama and made you feel for the characters more than most movies do. I have been waiting so long for this to come out on dvd, and now it is finally here. This show really deserves its release onto dvd. If you don't believe me though, just go to tvshowsondvd.com and see how many people have voted for it. It has received over 3,000 votes and is the number one voted for show on that site.

Summary: It's about time!
Review: All I have to say is that this was a great show that should have never been cancelled. Even though we, the fans, couldn't get it back we sort of compromised and asked for DVD Box sets. It took us about two years but our hard work paid off. This sounds like a great box set and it will greatly appreciated it my collection. The only thing I ask is that the unaired pilot be included in the third season, so everyone can have every episode. I have already preordered this set and I am sure to be happy with my purchase.

Summary: Roswell is still one of the all-time best top tv shows
Review: Roswell continues to be one of my favorite tv series, one that I will watch over and over, whenever I am in the mood for some "good TV". I still have most of the episodes on VHS, and my favorites are still on TIVO, but I am very happy that they finally released the first season (the best of the 3 seasons)onto DVD. Yes, there are music changes that unfortunately sometimes substantially lessens the impact of some of the key scenes (the original music score was wonderful), but the superior picture clarity of the dvds (over tv and vhs)still makes it more than worth it to purchase this dvd set. And to get all of the episodes without those annoying station logos and commercials? Any fan of Roswell will enjoy this set. The only other shows that I can watch like this (repeatedly, with enjoyment) are Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Highlander-the series. I look forward to the release of the 2nd season onto DVD. p.s. I am one of those older-aged fans, mid-forties, attracted to the wonderful characterizations and relationships between the cast members, as well as some of the best cinematography and writing that I have seen.

Review: This DVD is A-Must for All Sci-Fi Fans, as it combines Great Story Lines, with Hilarious Dialogue, Dealing with Real-Life Relationship Issues and Very Touching, sometimes Heart-Breaking Scenes thru-out the first season. YOU HAVE TO GET IT. When I realized some of the Music has been replaced, I was a little Bummed Out, But It Is Still As Good. Look out for the Special Commentary by the Cast (Shiri Appleby and Manjandra Delfino) and the Crew. Once You watch the first Episode, I Promise You, You'll Be Absolutely ADDICTED TO ROSWELL. I have Seen All Three seasons of Roswell, I have to say Season One os the Best. The Performances of this Talented Cast- Jason Behr (Buffy season 2), Brendan Fehr (The Forsaken), Shiri Appleby
