Review: This DVD collection is fabulous and a must have for fans of the now ended show, La Femme Nikita, formerly on USA Network and currently airing on Oxygen Channel. While I have the entire series on VHS, I wanted something that would have superior quality and last for a long time. I still grieve the loss of this show. Too bad the major networks did not air the show, it would have skyrocketed in success, however LFN retains a very loyal following of fans. I want all 5 seasons on DVD. BUY, BUY, BUY!!!

Review: I think all the positive responses regarding this highly anticipated DVD release speaks for itself. This was truly one amazing series and definitely the best drama series ever to hit television. Section 1 and everything in it was way ahead of its time. The choice of music was excellent and fit each and every episode quite nicely. It had an excellent cast of characters, most of which were so good at playing their roles that it made it difficult for the viewer to distinguish their true personalities. (Especially the case with "Michael") Excellent acting, directing & storylines. An equally exciting and entertaining series from beginning to end. For those folks at WB...this overwhelming positive response should be enough to see just how many dedicated fans there are and should indicate just how important it is to release this entire series on DVD. For those not familiar with the series, you'll be hooked after just the first episode. Don't miss out on this DVD set. It is worth every penny.

Review: Much like "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", "La Femme Nikita" was a show that survived due to the fierce loyalty of it's fans.Intelligently written, brillantly casted, and filmed with a lush fullness lacking in many of today's tv shows. Peta Wilson's portrayl of an innocent neer-do-well forced into a life of espionage is captivating; Wilson manages to convey a tapestry of emotion by simple downcasting her eyes. Sexy, smart, and finally on dvd. This is the type of show that collects intelligent high brow fans from around the world. Jump on the train...it's a great ride.

Summary: Nikita has it all
Review: La Femme Nikita is one of the most underrated series ever. Peta nailed her roll with perfection. Roy has to be the highest paid actor per word spoken--only Costillo from Miami Vice said less. Roy's portrayal of the sullen, mysterious,perfect assasin Michael was breathtaking. The chemistry of the whole cast clicked. Joel Surnow had his expert fingers in this. On the whole, the series is exceptional but season five had a disappointing end. The storylines about Adrian season 2 and Eleana season 3 are not to be missed. All this and great Italian fashions. PERFECTION!!! p

Summary: The show was ahead of its time
Review: If you haven't seen La Femme Nikita, you need to check it out. It was ahead of its time in music, fashion, and plot lines. I have taped all 96 episodes of the 5 seasons and I can't get enough of it. I am so glad they came out with the first season on DVD. Hope they do the same with the other four seasons. You can see how the characters evolve through each season. You think you know what is going on and there is a twist. I love it and think you will too.

Summary: No Finer Show Ever Created
Review: I guess saying I'm a devout LFN fan is an understatement - I've been in constant mourning since the show was cancelled in it's fifth season. Other reviews here truly reflect the beauty of this show. Those of you who never got to experience the TV show - this DVD set is for you! You will find it a real treat of intrigue, mystery, and keep your heart racing and your mind reeling. Every episode is a rollercoaster ride of the mind! As I said before, there is NO FINER SHOW EVER CREATED!

Summary: IT'S ABOUT TIME!
Review: This is simply one of the best shows ever to come along. We quickly became addicted to the show when it was playing on USA then later on Oxygen. However, there was never any true consistency to the re-runs, and we only got the bits and pieces after watching various episodes over a long period of time. We have been looking for these DVDs to come out for a very long time, and celebrate now that they are. For whoever currently controls the copyright on this show, take heed! KEEP THEM COMING, WE WANT THEM ALL!

Summary: Doesn't Get Any Better Than This!
Review: There has never been , and probably never will be again, a better show than this! La Femme Nikita has everything you could ever want from a TV show - great sets, fabulous costumes, music that rocks, and outstanding acting. This cast works so well with one another, it is easy to forget that you are watching a TV show. Peta Wilson has more sex appeal than the law allows; Rot Dupuis says more with a glance than the most eloquent speakers; Don, Matthew, Alberta, and Gene all come together to create the most perfect of casts.
The departure of having Nikita as a drug addict (as in the movie) to a homeless street kid in the show gives it something extra special. Nikita is an innocent in a world filled with evil. She keeps her morals while saving the world and finds love with sexy Michael, even if they can't admit it right away. ;o)
And season one is just the beginning of 5 glorious seasons that I await on bated breath to be released on DVD.

Review: I can say no more than what the other reviews have said. I agree with all of them so no need to repeat. The only problem I'm having is that the first season is just a taste of what's to come it just gets better and better, (except for the ending). I want all 5 seasons. I hope they don't stop there. I need my Nikita fix. I've seen all the shows numerous times, I even find myself saying the next lines with the actors. I know I'm a little over the top. I'm not a TV buff I enjoy very few shows but Nikita is exceptional. I never get tired of watch it.
