Review: Theyve only showed a couple of episodes at 11:30pm, here in Australia, and axed the show, right when I got addicted to it. It grew on me slowly, the first time i watched i was trying to make sense of it all, then i realised youre not supposed to! Larry David is a comic genius! I cant wait till they bring out the dvd (hopefully all 3 seasons). I have no other way of watching this masterful comedy. I may move to the states just to watch it!

Review: My husband and I just started watching this season. LARRY IS A RIOT!!! We love it!!! We can't get enough of this show. We even watch the previous season's episodes on HBO commedy. They are on weeknights. We never miss an episode. We can't wait until the first and second season comes out on DVD!!!

It will have you laughing histerically as the Larry David, the main character bumbles his way through everyday life occurences. Real comedy that you must see. Check it out on HBO currently in the third season you will laugh till you fall over.

Review: LARRY KICKS...! I live each week just waiting for this to come on! It has to be the funniest show on television and I hope now that its on after the Sorpranos more people get hooked like me and realize what they have been missing! Hysterical!

Summary: Best sitcom ever!!!
Review: I'm from Germany and just recently saw the show by accident in my hotel room. Now I am a complete "Curb Your Enthusiasm"-addict. I think there has never been anything comparable to it in terms of comedic impact than Monty Python's Flying Circus. This show is absolutely brilliant. It's full of black humor and it exploits uneasy situations that everybody has experienced to some degree in their lives. So you easily identify with this hopeless nerd. He's the guy you just love to hate. The other actors (there are a lot of interessting cameos) are just as brilliant, although most of the time they only have to listen and suffer from the temper tantrums of the protagonist. The camerawork is constantly handheld which adds a certain impression of "reality". That makes the characters very "real-life" and believable in contrast to a lot of other sitcoms. My recommendation: just go see it and have the best laugh you could ever get from a tv-show.

Summary: Insanely Great...Funnier than Seinfeld
Review: If you can stand Seinfeld with no language restrictions, this show is insanely great. Larry David is a genius, and doesn't fear making himself look like a totally self-centered and horrid person. The fact that his character is "Larry David, the Creator of Seinfeld" in the show wonderfully blurs the line between reality and fiction. When you see this show, you will realize that the greatest part of the Seinfeld show was from the mind of Larry David. This alone makes the show fascinating to watch. There are wonderful recurring cameos by Jason Alexander, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Richard Lewis, and a host of others. There is a significant level of discomfort watching this show, and you might even find yourself yelling at the TV as Larry David digs himself into ever deeper holes through his habit of obfuscation and dissassembly. The hilarious thing is that his intentions are generally good, but the result is disastrous. It's wonderful that he never really learns why people end up despising him so much. If he did, he wouldn't get into so much trouble and the show wouldn't be nearly as funny. The humor is very REAL, despite coming from rather outlandish circumstances at times. If you have any appreciation of existential humor, you MUST see this show. It is a true treasure of modern comedy.

Summary: The Greatest Sitcom Since Seinfeld!
Review: Larry David is so funny! For all those who miss Seinfeld this is just as funny. The Episodes in the first season are so funny. The First 2 seasons aired on HBO. The Third will start September 15, 2002. This is one of the best reasons to get HBO, besides The Sopranos. This Show and this DVD collection are a masterpiece!

Vehemently pro-Israel and anti-Republican, David uses his Hollywood clout to push his various leftist political agendas. By all means, buy this DVD if you want, but please be aware of the social and political causes that you will be helping to fund.
