Review: I have been waiting for this dvd for a while. Curb your enthusiasm is definitely the funniest show since Seinfeld. Its obvious by the humor and continuity in this show that Larry David was the brains behind Seinfeld as well. If you have never seen the show, I recommend you buy this set today.

Review: This show kills me. You know, that no matter how good his intentions, Larry David is going to make a mess out of an ordinary situation. His intentions are always good, his actions are often not. You know what is going to happen and you cannot turn away, it is like watching a car roll slowly down a hill towards a telephone poll. You cannot look away. The cast is top notch, this show takes risks where network shows will not. This show plays off what we know, Seinfeld, and brings it to a new level. Top Notch!

Review: I was so thrilled to find out that this DVD is to be out in a couple of months! Hopefully HBO will release the other seasons in a faster rate than so far....For now, though, I am just really looking forward to this release - great!

Review: I love 'Curb', I thikn it's the cleverest and funniest sit-com the americans have. It's beautifully crafted, the way the plots work around each other and build up to the big punchline at the end. The show's improvised, so the dialogue isn't full of cheesy team-built one liners that show the vapid hollowness of most american sit-coms (friends, etc. I don't get why, whenever i read reviews of Curb, people always go on about how acidic and unpleasant Larry David is. To me, he's the normal one. He finds himself in a shallow, superficial, have a nice day world he doesn't understand, and squirms and struggles to get through (as any normal person would). I love the way he always starts out trying to do the right thing, like putting an obit of an aunt in the paper, and gets into problems from it. Every good deed is punished. The characters are petty, and cowardly, and basically human. I think the comedy's very british, which is a good thing. Larry David is a comedy genius.

Summary: My thoughts on this DVD, from a loyal viewer..
Review: I haven't seen this DVD yet, but I have seen all 10 episodes featured, as well as the one hour special. I have been waiting for this DVD forever! All I can say is that Curb Your Enthusiasm is pure comedy genius. It's simply one of the best shows on television today. The writing of the plots and character developments in each show is so great that every episode is like a mini movie, and then in the end the entire season subtley links together. It cracks me up! The funny thing about Curb is that you either love it or hate it. Some friends of mine who I introduce to it absolutely love it and can't get enough, but then others think it's the worst thing they've ever seen, and they can't turn off the TV any quicker. But, generally, most people love it. But a few do in fact hate it. However I've been able to convert a Curb hater or two, after forcing them to watch a few select episodes. This DVD is a perfect addition to any fan of comedy in general, especially the whole Jerry Seinfeld observation, satyrical, practical and subtle comedy stuff. As you know, Larry created Seinfeld and wrote many classic episodes. Bottom line is, all Curb fans have been waiting for this moment, and it's finally here! I can't wait until season two and three make it to DVD as well.

Review: Thank God, finally the best show on television is going to be available on DVD. I can't wait. Larry David is the funniest man on the planet and "Curb" is the best show in the world! It is easily the best show since Seinfeld! Thank goodness its finally on DVD!
